Two sliding glass doors exit the dining room to the brick patio. A picnic table with additional seating and a propane grill complete this space. The living room has comfortable couches and television with satellite service. Conveniently, there are golf carts that can be rented within the Island Club village. We were a family of 10 staying in two units. Ours was absolutely filthy. The bottoms of our feet and socks were black. I do not believe the floors were ever washed or are only washed once in a great while. We had children with us so we washed the floors ourselves but that barely made a dent. Our unit also had a mouse trap in one of the cabinets that was freshly baited. If a unit has mice you should be telling your customers-especially those traveling with kids for safety. There were mice droppings in the cabinet throughout the week. The location of the property is great. The golf cart rentals were fabulous. The size of the unit is fine but it’s just so run down and dirty. I get that vacation rentals get run down with time. I am ok with something being livid in but there is no excuse for it to be filthy. The floors should be washed between each guest. The day we checked out we watched a cleaning crew go into a unit. They spent all of 15 minutes there before going on to the next. Knowing what I know now I would stay some place else next time. We had a fabulous time on the island. There is so much to do.

We had a full house and it worked out perfect. Having the full kitchen and grill made for an awesome place to cook and eat when we weren't out and about. Everyone in our area was also nice and just there to enjoy their time on the island. We have stayed here before and plan on it again.

The house was well appointed with all items necessary for a great stay at Put-In-Bay. When we arrived there seemed to be a very distinct smell of sewage in the master bedroom but after turning the fan on and leaving it be for a few hours it did dissipate. It probably was from not being rented out for a few weeks. Other than that great experience a lot of room and all of the amenities we needed for a great weekend. Suggestion would be for a few floor matts at the interior in case of rain.

The TV was ancient, still using a VHS player!! The gas grill did not work. The toilet handle in hall bathroom kept falling off. There was no can opener in the kitchen. The bathtub in the master bath did not have a plug. But we wouldn't have used it anyway. The house overall felt dirty. We did not use the deck because it looked filthy. I will not be back to the Island Club.

Overall this place was fine for a bachelorette party, however, for 1000 a night, linens should be included, the air conditioning should work, the fridge shouldn't have a broken shelf and the place she be clean. We had to ask for cleaning supplies upon arrival and we found a moldy jello shot lid in our room. Did the place even get cleaned at all?

It was fun! Only thing I can think of was when we first arrived things started off a tad spooky (it was halloween weekend .....but a little too spooky for my liking). We found a mouse trapped in a trap upon arrival which was disappointing and pretty icky (if you're not a fan of little creatures. Other than that, it was pretty clean and the staff took care of the mouse fairly quickly which was greatly appreciated. Our group turned it into a joke and called it the mouse house. I'd stay in island club again, it really actually is a good time!

This is the 4th year we have stayed in this cabin and it seems that things are still not being repaired or maintained. The house fits 12 people well and we love going to the Island Club, but the price we pay for the weekend rental does not reflect in the upkeep. The toilet seat is cracked and pinches skin when you sit on it. The shower was so clogged that it would not drain and we had to use the plunger on it to even get a little water to drain. After 8 people using the shower, it was disgusting. There was no broom or dust pan available to use if needed. A mop would have been nice to have due to it raining and tracking in mud on the tile. The sliding glass patio door does not lock at all which leaves all our belongings vulnerable. Like I said, we enjoy our time there but the house could definitely use some touch ups if we are going to spend that kind of money for a weekend stay.

a lot of items were either broken or missing. Our cabin had outlets that didn't work. back storm door was broke and would not even close. light bulbs burned out. Satins all over the carpet. I am fine coming here with a group of fisherman but would never consider bringing my wife and family here.

Unfortunately, every time we stay at the Island Club, we are see more and more run down houses. Usually October is chilly, however, this year it was warm and our house was in the 80s the entire weekend due to the AC being broken. This made sleeping at night almost impossible. The comforters that are provided look terrible and dirty, no one wanted to use them. The staff that was contacted were a great help though. Responded quickly. I just do not feel that these houses are worth the high price for a night stay. The bathroom showers were all clogged and would fill up past your ankles within minutes of being in the shower. Everything is outdated and the carpet is ripping in several spots throughout the house. The kitchen did not have cookie sheets to make breakfast items or certain utensils for cooking. Overall, the house is run down and dirty. The staff were pleasant and helpful. I wouldn't recommend this location to others due to the high price and the quality that you are getting. It isn't worth it. Taxi service was great also!

When I arrived the code that was email to me was not the correct code. When I called ,I was asked if I was a Fisherman or a Real Person. When we entered the unit found the screen door hanging from hinges ,broken toilet seat ,and most of the refrigerator shelves missing.

Rented Unit 109 from September 28th to September 30th. I would expect some normal wear and tear for these units. However this is not what we saw.What we walked into: Damage to walls and furniture (have photos). Refrigerator missing door handle and smelled like rotten food. Only some light bulbs worked in the ceiling units. TV went out in the middle of the Ohio State game. Dried puke on one of the comforters in the bedroom. Mice droppings on the kitchen counters, cupboards and bedroom window sills. Cob webs in the corners of the home. Who ever is in charge of cleaning this unit and maintaining it really dropped the ball. Overall the rental lacked cleanliness and needs updated. The only update(s) appeared to be in the living room area.

We had a fun time on the island; however, we were very disappointed in the accommodations. The main issues were: cleanliness throughout, bugs and cobwebs throughout. Toilet stool was loose and bath smelled of sewer gas. Two coffee pots of which neither worked; however, management did bring a new one within a few minutes.

This was our second stay at Island Club and we was VERY disappointed!!! When we arrived at #109 the outside was VERY dirty (shoes, trash, dirty grill, water bottles, the trash over flowing from the can, cigarette butts). We had to call Dottie a FEW times just to have it cleaned up. Then when we went into the home the love seat was broke!! So Dottie removed it and did not return with a new one til the following day in the afternoon! We had 8 guest in our party and we couldn't even enjoy the tv cause everyone couldn't set in the living room. We was VERY DISPLEASED. When we left the following day we left the property in MUCH better shape than we found it. I will be awaiting a response from management. PS there was also mold in both bathrooms!

It's a family tradition for the past five years!island Club offers, great services, amenities ( pool with golf carts) but the WiFi is horrible:( I'm not sure if we will return to the location we stayed at because of no service all week cost me a lot of loss business back home! This is my second time staying with Island Club and we enjoyed our stay. My husband's family loved it (their first time there). The only major complaint I have is that the carpets were disgusting...our feet were black and we had to always wear shoes. I would recommend cleaning the carpets occasionally. We would love to stay agai but only if the floors are cleaned!

over all it was a great place to stay. Jerry was outstanding to work with. As a fishermen you need a place to clean fish and to dispose of the fish carcus. Also parking was very hard with the trucks and boat trailers.

I have rented with Island Club for 6 years now, and have had hands-down an amazing experience! All appliances are always in working-order, and the homes are well stocked with dishes, etc. One thing I wish we had was wifi. The signal for most of us on the island was pretty ******, so we weren't able to do things like stream the perfect party playlist. :-(
