An exceptional place to stay in Monodendri. This is one of those 5 star establishments with large and comfortable suits, above the clouds views, rich breakfasts and attention to details. A real spoiling experience with comfy beds, excellent noise & light insulation and all the amenities one would expect. What sets this place apart is Mrs. Sandy, who manages everything. From about 3 hours before we came till our checkout she was always around taking care of things, making recommendations and always with a smile. On the first day I asked a special request with respect to breakfast and the following days had the same treatment without even asking. I really liked and thanked this personal touch. Other things where we had different expectations than the hotel standard were immediately settled to our satisfaction. I look forward staying there again. Highly recommended.
- Everything in this hotel "screams" high quality & high standards. I personally found asking a small fee for a Nespresso capsules and a bottle of water (in the room) a bit not in synch, considering the cost of the room and the general generosity of the experience.
- Access to the hotel is via a steep and unpaved road, not for the faint of heart or ones with big cars. Parking in the road below and climbing for 1 minute on foot was better for us. If you have a small car, this is not a problem and there is ample of parking facing the hotel once you climb the access road.

What a beautiful hotel with stunning views of the mountains. The hotel is so thoughtfully designed and feels very special. Our room was enormous and had views on 3 sides with a lovely little patio, the staff are very friendly and welcoming and we have to give a special mention to Sandy, the manageress. She made us feel at home straight away and took excellent care of us, making recommendations for places to visit and restaurants to eat in depending on what we were looking for. She can’t do enough to ensure you have a wonderful experience. The hotel is well situated for visiting the main sights in the area. Breakfast is also varied, home made and set out really nicely at your table! Thank you Sandy!

The bed was big and very comfortable. The shower was great.
We booked this place because it advertises itself as a spa. It is not. It has a very small sauna (that does not get hot enough) and a steam room, squeezed into a small space. The only shower is in the steam room, which means you are unable to cool down properly. There is nowhere to sit and relax. You have to book your session in advance and it is limited to 40 min. In addition, I tried to book a treatment 2 days before coming and they failed to reply to the message or return my phone call.
The breakfast organization is a joke. Although edible, not sure why some people rated it highly. The staff insist on serving you at the table but take their sweet time (we waited 20 min to even get hot water for tea). They bring tiny portions and even though you can request more, this means yet more waiting for everything. Plus, their coffee was the worst we had in Greece. For a 5-star hotel this is not good enough. They need to change it to a buffet and go visit other 5-star hotels to see how it should be done.
Overall, style over substance.
