Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt und können dieses Hotel von Herzen weiterempfehlen! ❤️
Die Gastgeber Katerina und ihrer Familie sind einfach fantastisch – unglaublich herzlich, aufmerksam und gastfreundlich. Man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an willkommen und so, als ob man bei Freunden zu Besuch wäre.
Alles war tipptopp sauber und mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Auch die Gegend ist wunderschön in einem Dorf mit Geschichte und lädt zum Wohlfühlen und Entspannen ein. Alles super gut zu erreichen und mit einem tollen Blick auf Ioannina!
Ein ganz besonderes Highlight war das fantastische Frühstück, das mit so viel Liebe jeden Morgen frisch von Katerina zubereitet wurde.
Abends hatten wir vor dem Kamin tolle Gespräche in einer schönen und entspannten Atmosphäre!
Man merkt einfach überall, wie viel Herzblut und Leidenschaft die Gastgeber in ihr Haus und das Wohl ihrer Gäste stecken.
Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und uns tatsächlich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Vielen lieben Dank für die wundervolle Zeit und eure herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

פעם שנייה שלנו במקום, רק שהפעם אכלנו את ארוחת הבוקר, היה מגוון רחב וטרי!

Η τοποθεσία ήταν υπέροχη.Το δωμάτιο μεγάλο ,πεντακάθαρο,πολύ καλό στρώμα. Και το κρεβάτι που είχε για το παιδί ήταν κανονικό (όχι ράντζο ή καναπές )με πολύ καλό στρώμα και στο μόνο .Ηταν όλα άψογα .

Arktos is one of those places you remember long after the trip. The hotel sits in the quiet stone village of Ligkiades, high on the slope of Mount Mitsikeli, with a wide view over Lake Pamvotida and Ioannina below. And yet the city is only about 15 minutes away by car, so you get the mountains and the town at the same time.
The owner is the heart of this place. She welcomed me like a guest in her own home, not a booking number. Breakfast was a real feast: homemade pies, local cheese, honey, fruit, everything fresh and generous. She even packed what was left for my road trip the next day. That kind of care is rare.
The room was spotless, comfortable and quiet, the kind of silence you only get in the mountains. The hotel is cosy and full of character, with a fireplace that must be wonderful in winter, when the village is covered in snow. In summer it is a perfect escape from the heat of the valley, noticeably cooler up here.
If you are visiting Ioannina, Zagori or the Vikos Gorge, don't stay in the city. Stay here. And stay longer than one night, I wish I had.
