This was a beautiful old pub in a great location in Fremantle. The rooms were big and bright and airy.
The bed was very comfortable. There was plenty of upstairs public guest seating.
There are shared bathrooms here which were clean and spacious, although the lighting was very dim. I would recommend.brighter for this bathroom space.
While the bedrooms are spacious, I felt that the kitchen amenities that were on top of the bar fridge were cramped and awkward to use, especially for making hot drinks.
If the bar fridge was built into a cabinet with a bench over the top, this would’ve been much more user-friendly.
There was no wardrobe in the room instead, just a hanging rack.

Location of the Local in South Fremantle is excellent.
Winter fire in the bar 🔥and mulled wine!

Stairs. Not suitable for a disabled person.
