Замечательный Karon Sea Sands!

Отель Karon Sea Sands восхитителен, наш отдых в нем прошел просто замечательно. Начнем с того, что нас заселили раньше положенного, сразу по прибытию в отель был предоставлен холодный напиток и ледяное полотенце, что было очень кстати, т.к. дорого от аэропорта заняла порядка 1,3 часа. Девушка на ресепшене была крайне мила, старалась чтобы мы ее поняли и дабы не вызвать недопонимания, все свои слова переводила на русский язык. Взяли 100$ в залог, при выселении вернули. Сотрудник отеля взял наши вещи и сопроводил нас в номер. К слову сказать, в момент нашего пребывания отель был полностью заселен, и поскольку нам нужно было два номера рядом а их не оказалось в наличии, руководство отеля повысило нам категорию номера и нас заселили в семейный номер. Что касается уборки: убирались каждый день всегда во второй половине дня. Ежедневно меняли постельное белье, полотенца и МЫЛИ полы. Да, да мыли а не как обычно в других отелях подметают веником. Лежа у бассейна я также могла наблюдать, как убирались на балконе в других номерах. Там так же мыли полы и ежедневно до блеска натирали стекла. Касательно питания: как уже писали оно действительно разнообразно. Всегда был суп, два вида мяса (курица и свинина), рис, картошка, макароны. Из фруктов ежедневно: арбуз, ананас (очень вкусный!), папая, дыня и либо драконий фрукт либо бананы. Если, что то заканчивалось, персонал своевременно пополнял все. Так же есть кофе машина что лично для меня огромный плюс. Не смотря на 100% заселение я не заметила проблем, чтобы найти место на завтраке все размещались ни кто не стоял в очереди. Ребята оперативно убирали грязную посуду и сервировали стол снова. Про бассейн: вода чистая, едкий запах хлорки отсутствует, по расписанию включают джакузи, лежаков так же на всех хватало. У отеля есть свои бонусы для всех гостей скидка 10% в близ лежавшие рестораны (при заселении об этом сразу говорят).

Все было на высшем уровне, это наша не первая поездка на Пхукет и уже 4 конкретно на Карон, и я с уверенностью могу сказать, что нашла свой отель. Жду с нетерпением новой встречи c Karon Sea Sands.

All in all we had a nice stay in this Hotel and we would probably stay there again.

Good value for money, low season stay very affordable.. Hotel is nice and provides all the basic amenities. Pool is clean and well maintained and rooms where clean and nice as well.

The quality of the breakfast buffet could be a little better and a bit more healthy options. Juices weren't fresh and the bacon chewy. However staff was very friendly and nice at all times.

Good value for money

Spacious room with good seating area, balcony overlooked pool. Staff friendly and helpful, place was clean and comfortable. Extensive multi-lingual library to take/swap.

Shower leaked into bathroom and shower head was a little broken but to be fair we didn’t report this, we just made do. Breakfast was ok. It’s a little tired but it was relaxing and comfortable stay and I’d go back.

Steps from the beach with great value and amazing comfort.

I LOVED the location. It was right on the beach. The property sits a little back from the road (parking lot and pull up). As soon as you hit the sidewalk, the beach is right there. It’s also close to the bus stop. Pro tip: DO NOT pay for a Tuktuk or a taxi to the airport unless you’re pressed for time. You can pay 200 baht and ride the bus to the airport. It makes stops at beaches along the way but the ride isn’t bad and saves money. As for the property, the breakfast was nice but doesn’t vary, so long term guests may get bored. The pool area was well kept and looked clean though I never swam there- bring bug spray.

I had to use a cup and thought I had checked for cleanliness. There was a small stain (which I should have rinsed or cleaned) but attributed it to previous coffee stains (I didn’t think nor expect it to be a brand new cup) only to have the taste off coffee mixed with my milk. I was immediately appalled. I know that the highly trafficked areas like bathrooms and beds get cleaned, but this oversight was disgusting. That was the only negative experience, but did make me extra cautious using things.

Very nice place to stay at a good price!

Very nice big room and bathroom. Shelf space was good and hooks and bars were good… they even had a wonderful drying rack on the balcony! I loved the daybed to lay and read. They gave us 4 glass bottles of water per day. Wi-fi was good. There were 2 functional restaurants while we were here (off season) as well as a rooftop bar. The pool bar was not functioning.

Pool wasn’t as clean as I’d expect, particularly the kids pool (a lot of algae in the grout). Pool bar was closed.

Disappointing

When I checked in, I left deposit 100$ by cash on reception. I have a receipt. When I made check out, they didn’t return the deposit to me. Later I sent few messages to them via booking.com asking to transfer the money to me as I already left Thailand, they answered they will return the deposit on my back account. But I haven’t got received it yet. It passed 2 weeks since my check out and now they stopped answering on my messages. It’s a very very poor behaviour for guests.

loved it but the phone trouble would stop us booking again

everything. staff were exceptional.location great

we were very upset that the alarm went off 4 mornings at 6.15. Then the last morning it went at2.15 am. we are very upset. no matter how many times we complained it still went off. the man in the next apartment said that the people before us had the same trouble

Great hotel with loud air conditioner

Great breakfast and across from the beach. We were upgraded to a very spacious 2 bedroom apartment which was nice. The staff were extremely helpful, they helped us with our luggage through our stay

The air conditioner was loud and not cooling the spacious apartment property. The hotel has been around for some time and the central air conditioner system needs a retrofit.

Nice stay in the heart of Karon Beach, good value for money.

Location is right in the center of Karon. Relax atmosphere, nice staff. Pool access room nice with the kids. Karon beach is right across the street. Very nice cafe , a lot of restaurants and massage places just few steps away. Breakfast was very average, but it had everything we needed including fresh fruits and egg station.

As the location is very central and it was high season (new year) it is very crowded and some guests were partying 24/7 (this is of course not the hotels fault). Major of the guests were Russians.

Superb

Great room with direct pool access. Staff friendly and helpful especially when we were trying to get transport to ferry port and taxis kept "cancelling " on us. Very clean, serviced daily, glass bottles of water provided. Breakfast good, omlette chef was great. Good location, off main road.

We did organize a airport pick up that didn't show up, so better communication in that area may be beneficial.

Ground floor room very spacious and balcony straight on the sunbed area. It felt like a part of the room Room had all amenities you need and you can ask for more. Friendly staff.

Good value and great location

The room was very sunny and clean, bathroom, bathrobes, everything we needed. There was a beach towel and a beach bag we could use daily, which was quite helpful. Breakfast was simple but great taste. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is perfect!

Breakfast ran out of items often, and it took a long time to replace them, perhaps they were short staffed or didn't manage it well, not sure. The pillows were very high, not very comfortable, so I slept with the cushion instead. The pool is okay, but you feel like you are in people's personal space as the rooms have access to the pool, so either you are in the shallow or you are in a good location at the pool, just outside people's houses. We opted for the beach every day then which wasn't bad, but I wish we could have had some more pool time as well. There's a bar in the pool, but they don't make drinks there, they need to run to the Irish Pub outside to get it, so this service can be a bit slow at times. We ordered room service (also comes from the Irish Pub) several times, mostly fine, but once the staff on the other side of the phone at the pub was quite rude, said they were busy but took the order, we waited over 1.5hrs then called to check and found he did not put the order through... A final suggestion is to have some options of books in English at their library, they have many books available, which is great to enjoy on a nice, calm beach or pool day, but they were all in Russian unfortunately!
