Our bedroom turned out almost to be a narrow suite of rooms at the top of a historic building. It was full of natural light, with outlooks of verdant foliage with a medieval tower beyond on one side, and an inner courtyard on the other side. The walls were painted with gently rolling trompe l'oeil Tuscan landscapes. A wonderfully varied and copious breakfast was served in a series of linked intimate spaces decorated with quirky originality and charm. The staff were unfailingly helpful and attentive.

Beautiful, vintage, quirky. Great location. The staff was wonderful!
The hotel has a wine bar with a courtyard that was noisy, but they close at 10:00. By 11:00 it quieted down.

Cosy, comfortable, welcoming and authentic to Lucca. Lots of quirky touches and the room was super lovely. Very comfy bed! Just like a home from home! Fabulous breakfast with delicious coffee…staff amazing! So lovely and helpful upon arrival and full of local tips and guidance.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like! Want to come back as soon as we can!
