Lacking quality & service to justify price.

The location - close to the marina and not in the heart of the town. Charlie the friendly staff member. Stored luggage while we were on a boat trip but took me emailing 3 times to have this confirmed.

Odd design. Pool in wrong spot - should overlook water not be overlooked by the carpark. The room we book needs an outdoor jacuzzi or spa added. That’s not controllable though. Controllable items that need to be addressed: insufficient towels for number of guests (then reception closed early for public holiday so we couldn’t get more), cleaning not finished on 2pm check in then rushed resulting in broken glass all over balcony not cleaned (I.e. balcony was not cleaned or they’d see the glass everywhere), dirty marks on walls near kitchen like something spilt, no laundry powder like our other room had, ants in bathtub (so couldn’t use it unless we cleaned it) and second room bed! Mentioned ants to a staff member to ensure adequate time was allowed to properly clean ants & glass when we checked out and I was told “but ants are a big problem in north qld”. I spent 20 years in NQ and I’ve never seen ants concentrated on a bathtub and in a second room like this. Usually they trail near the sink when rain is coming. This was like something sticky was in the bath. The base sheet didn’t fit the bed - it was too small.

Generous size, good beds and verygood proximity ot marina

Proximity to Coral See Marina (South) is very good, having just come off a bareboat charter. Apartments and rooms a very generous size including with laundry and very comfortable beds

The decor is quite dated and the lounges were very uncomfortable. The fridge/freezer made such a noise in the evening that it had to be turned off completely.

Excellent location and views. The piece does not warrant the apartment as it is currently. .

Location and stunning views. Pool was great too. Kitchen kitted our well. Comfy sofa.

The lack of cleanliness. Dirty balcony. 2 outdoor chairs very dirty. Indoor rug matted. Dusty smell in main bedroom when air con on. Walked in to find bucket left in middle of it. WiFi not worth logging into. Very poor.

Worth coming back.

I spent a week here with my partner in a one bedroom apartment. We were very happy with our stay. The room was a good size and the location was perfectly hidden from the main street without feeling excluded. Pool area was amazing, clean and tidy. It would be nice if there was pool towels included in the rooms though, maybe we just didn’t find it. Kellie in the reception was very service minded and provided us with a lot of information at our check in, about places to eat and recommended places to visit. She also told us we could use the gym of another resort free of charge in Airlie beach since marina doesn’t have one. We can’t wait to go back there next week to get even more out of our stay.

We loved the view and the unit was super comfortable.

Was really comfortable. The view was beautiful.

Can get a bit noisy with the walkway in front of the units. We stayed on the second floor and the tenants above us was noisy moving furniture in the early morning hours. Also had noisy tenants returning from town in the early morning hours.

The bed was comfortable

The room was nothing like the photos advertised for the specific room I booked. There was some sort of green yuckness on the edge of the bath so I refused to use to. There was also ants in the kitchen. I called the reception prior to arrival as I was going to arrive after hours and the conversation started like this: Receptionist: marina shores, how can I help you? Me: hi, how are you? Receptionist: how can I help.... I wanted to give a 0 star before arriving, but was hoping the room would change my opinion of the property. It didn't.

We would not book again.

Loved the view and the location was perfect.

Check in was unorganised and took a fair while to complete due to a communication breakdown hotel staff had with their new cleaning staff. Kitchen cupboards were dirty inside and unorganised. Kettle was unusable. Dishwasher was broken and marked out of order. No coffee machine as described in the advertisement. No foxtail channels also advertised to be available. Spa bath was small. Great for a child. Plumbing issue was causing a loud noise throughout the night. No bins in the bathrooms. Furniture very old and dated including a stereo system probably 20year old plus Pillows hard Paid for 2 nights. Left after the first night. Provided feedback to hotel and given no response.

I would say balcony view. it was directly facing to ocean and was peaceful.

1- Apartment wasn’t clean properly, toilet was disgusting. 2- I believe furniture would be million years old, couch was filthy, bed wasn’t that bad but supper old. So was toilet, it wasn’t clean properly and supper old, No bathroom fan just windows which open out in the hallway. Finally, toilet smell it was pretty bad and you can feel in the bedroom. 3- Internet-Wifi, apparently it was available but doesn’t work at all, while checking in I asked fellow staff that wifi isn’t working and he said it was due to maintenance and suppose to be fixed I’m not sure but I will double check. stayed there for four days but no internet. Funny part is internet on TV does work as it was directly connected to internal network. 4- While checking out- I mentioned to fellow staff member since she asked me how was everything, she just gave me smile, no apologies or even explanation just smile.

Little out of town without a car. Also, disappointed I paid for a 1bedroom through booking.com vs direct to the hotel, which ended up costing more, than what the 2bed ocean view room was advertised as on booking.com the day after I was not permitted to cancel my reservation! O ver the same dates! I tried negotiating at least a free upgrade to the 2bedroom room to honour that price disparency, and this was not offered by booking.com which was very dissatisfying, and the hotel would not allow us to stay in the 2bed even though our 1bedroom cost more!!!. Ruined the stay a little

Not what i expected

The view from the apartment was beautiful and situated right next to the beach. The pool was perfect too.

The friendliness of the staff and there willingness to help their guests particularly if you have never been to Airlie Beach before. The room needs to be updated as it is very old and not very clean. The furniture was very poor as the couch was stained and had rips all through it.
