There were no breakfast menus or services associated with the Grand Central. The basics of tea, coffee, milk, sugar and biscuits were provided.
We could see that the Hotel is doing upgrades, but they have a long way to go yet to be charging the price we paid.
The rooms do not have private facilities. The Women's facilities need a full upgrade. Twice, I personally had to wait outside the bathroom while someone used the toilet. Much of the bathrooms interior is still in the vogue of the 1970s. Plus only 1 toilet and 1 shower, unlike the Men's that had upgraded to 2, possibly 3 showers and 2 toilets.
Another issue was the security light system. Every movement in the corridors set the lights off and these were very bright. The lights outside our room shone so brightly into my face, it was difficult getting to sleep. On top of that, they stayed on for about 10 minutes. There are clear paned windows at the tops of the doors which could be made opaque so that the light is not so bright.
