I have stayed at Jackson's motor inn many times when travelling to or through Adelaide. It is familiar and economic and safe accommodation.
The staff were very helpful and looked after everything I needed. The room was comfortable and quiet. The price was good. I plan to stay there again.
A couple of extra pillows and a glass to drink water from would be good. Some coat hangers would have been good. But I guess previous guests might have taken them. Otherwise no concerns.

Good location near city and suburbs.
Transport options. Food nearby, nice cafe close does breakfasts, coffee. Nice size room. Basic but had what was needed.
Some lights in room were not functioning (around half!)
Parking is available but a tight squeeze or a walk.

the bed mattress was great quality. medium firmness. the room was clean but 3 star quality. heating/ aircon works well. my kids loved that it had a pool but being winter it was freezing. the staff were helpful if you could find them. the car park was spacious with room to reverse. our room faced the pool and the restaurant. it was actually quite. the lights were bright from the restaurant but the black out curtains blocked most of the light.
pillows that were in our room were all different firmnesses. now extra blankets. and the quilt could have been bigger (double bed with a double sized quilt = not a lot of hang over or length). shower dripping after use unless you turned the taps super tight. not plates, bowls, cutlery to go with the microwave, toaster and kettle. so remember to bring your own if you plan to eat. they did supply mugs, saucer and teaspoons (x3 for a room that sleeps 4) a 2 glasses that were in the fridge.
