Tolles Hotel mit kleinen Abstrichen

Das Hotel liegt perfekt zum Sightseeing in die Marina. Auch alle weiteren POI`s in Dubai sind mit dem Taxi schnell und günstig erreichbar. Unsere Suite war sehr groß und konnte mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den Yachthafen überzeugen. Betten super, sehr bequem! Das Personal in allen Outlets überaus freundlich und Gastorientiert. Für alles wurde eine Lösung gefunden und jeder hatte ein Lächeln auf den Lippen :)

Die Bäder bedürfen einer Renovierung, die sind etwas außer der Zeit. Das Frühstücksbuffet ließ ebenfalls viele Wünsche offen, die Auswahl war sehr übersichtlich. Mir ist bewusst, dass ich hier keine deutschen Maßstäbe anlegen kann, aber hier war wirklich noch viel Luft nach oben.

This was a repeat visit. Kudos to Jamila and Janet from the front desk. Big thanks to them for their exceptional hospitality, and they really made the stay very comfortable. I am looking forward to staying at the hotel again in the near future.

A very pleasant stay for our special occasion

This was a family celebration event. Staff were very attentive, making a special effort to look after us and make us feel welcome. Yasser, Jhon and Arun merit particular mention, although all of the hotel staff were friendly, efficient and considerate. Room was good, all clean, beds comfortable, breakfast good.

Value for money, great location and great hotel staff

The hotels location is fantastic, given the proximity to the dubai harbour, the marina, to supermarkets and eateries. The staff was great throughout our stay and did their best to accommodate us for all requests. From John at the front desk, to Brown in guest relations, to Arun at the bell desk and the rest of the team were really great. The counter culture cafe had great breakfast options and a great cappuccino! Observatory was a great restaurant with great views of the palm.

Houskeeping could have been a little more attentive to some details while cleaning as they sometimes missed one or two areas.

Money trap labelled as Mariott

Location

Incompetent and rigid personnel beginning from garage master, through receptionist, porter, room service, security. The room setting suitable for student dormitory only, poor privacy, several rooms connected (for different guests). None of those rooms could be locked. When I asked the porter about this I was recommended to store all my valuables in a small safe. Lousy parking, assigned by garage master for my expensive motorcycle in the most distant dirty tiny corner of garage (there was plenty of free parking space available), no porter available on my arrival nor departure. No valet service for motorcycle at all. Valet service for cars so slow that I had to meet the driver myself in the garage after checking out and the driver even refused to give me my own car. Slow services everywhere. I waited for my room service order for more than an hour. After 4 phone calls it turned out you dont have any sparkling water. No drinking water provided in my room at all. Unkind and poor room design. Poor choice of meals and drinks for room service. Overpriced food of mediocre quality, served like at a cheap street eatery. When I asked for checkout at 2pm, first the staff agreed, then they changed their mind and insisted me to leave my room immediately. Overall, this may be a 2* Hostel, it is not getting even remotely to any Mariott network standards. Money trap as the price is the only thing matching Mariott brand, but without any corresponding value.

exceptional staff and excellent guest services that make you feel so welcomed and special.

i was upgraded to the 48flr which has beautiful views from both the palm and marina views. but the room was not yet renovated and the furnishing was kind of dated and old. but overall, we enjoy every moment during our stay at the hotel.

They had some noisy renovation work close to our room and next day without problem we were relocated away from the noise and discounted for the inconvenience.

I would go back mostly for the hospitality and the staff

The staff!!!!! They were all so nice especially Janet Nitin and Yasser!!!

Refurbishment is needed! Furnishings were so old dated and dirty!

Pretty good deal with a couple of flaws.

Staff and location are excellent. I was upgraded to the 2 bedroom suite, which is massive. Perfect if you're travelling as a family/group.

AC worked but wasn't always cold enough (as some others mentioned). Part of my view was marred by unsightly construction (not much the hotel can do about that). The 2bdrm doesn't have a balcony, but the 1bdrm does (I think).
