The house reef was spectacular - the fact that it only has 30 villas was a big draw for us

Kandolhu una perla di 30 camere 5 stelle, personale cordiale ed attento che ricorda i gusti e le intolleranze di tutti i clienti, ci si sente supercoccolati. Adatta soprattutto per chi desidera tranquillità. Non atterrano idrovolanti (si arriva sull’isola vicina che dista 7 minuti di barca veloce e quindi non si sentono nemmeno i rumori tipici degli aereoplanini. Direzione Svizzera anche se la struttura è di proprietà maldiviana che fa salire la qualità della struttura attebti a tutti i minimi dettagli. La ristorazione é sublime alla carta ma all you can eat offre ben 5 ristoranti con cucina molto ricercata e varia nonostante ci si trovi su una piccola Isola sembra di trovarsi in Europa. Il bar é eccezionale cocktail buonissimi e snack a tutte le ore deliziosi. Arriva pesce pescato localmente quasi tutti i giorni. Nelle camere compreso nel prezzo una cantina di vini, spumante e snack. L‘isola pulitissima offre spiagge da cartolina con un reef con moltissimi coralli in salute e pesci, squali nutrice, pinna nera, pinna bianca e tartarughe. Il reef é molto bello ma forse ad ari sud alcune isole offrono un tappeto senza soluzione di continuità. É forse insieme ad un‘altra simile l‘unica isola dove ritornerei senza alcun dubbio.

Purtroppo l‘arrivo all‘isola da un‘altra isola tramite idrovolante organizzato dalle due strutture dove eravamo ospiti ha richiesto tempi di attesa lunghissimi facendoci perdere un giorno di vacanza, beanche arrivassimo dall‘Italia. Checkout a Machchafushi alle 10 arrivo a Kandolhu alle 17 avviamo ricevuto solo scuse di circostanza e nulla più dalle strutture e compagnia dí idrovolanti

This was my fifth trip to the Maldives, and I’ve always had wonderful things to say about every resort I’ve visited but Kandolhu has completely redefined my idea of the perfect Maldivian escape. First, the staff. Every single person we encountered was exceptional. The level of attentiveness and attention to detail was unlike anything we’ve experienced before. We genuinely felt cared for throughout our stay. A special thank you to Mafaaz for helping us plan our activities for the week, Roman, Elvie, and Skye for making every meal memorable, Sylvia for her phenomenal cocktails, and of course the chefs, who completely ruined my diet in the best possible way. As for the resort itself, it's absolutely stunning. Kandolhu feels like a tiny slice of paradise, and tiny is exactly what makes it so special. With only 30 villas, the island feels intimate, peaceful, and incredibly exclusive. The rooms are spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly comfortable. I actually audibly gasped when I first walked into our water villa. And then there’s the house reef, truly the crown jewel of Kandolhu. We snorkeled multiple times a day and saw something new every single time. I’ve never seen such vibrant, diverse coral so full of life. Turtles, sharks, rays, eels, octopus, and endless schools of fish. It felt like swimming in an aquarium. I honestly don’t think you could ever get bored exploring it. All in all, Kandolhu is a small but majestic paradise, and without question my new favorite resort in the Maldives. I already can’t wait to return.
