The Plough Inn was in such a beautiful location. Plenty of areas to walk or bike in.

Fabulous full English breakfast, using local produce. The room was comfortable, although the plug was missing in the bathroom sink. Most of the staff were delightful - friendly and welcoming, especially the morning staff. Great location.
No plug in the sink, thankfully we carry a travel sink plug with us (normally needed for some European countries). Ideally, the teabags need to either wrapped or in a lidded jar, to maintain freshness. Considering there is a micro-brewery attached to this pub (great beer by the way!) the barman (on Friday night) was slightly reluctant to offer us tasters, which is unusual in a real ale pub.

From the minute we arrived we were made to feel extremely welcome - a special mention to the owner/manager Ennis, who went out of his way to accommodate our needs and look after us. We were early so had a coffee at the onsite coffee shop and the irish cream latte was delicious! As was the beef pasty...
When our rooms were ready, Ennis collected us and took our luggage up to the rooms - which although were the small double rooms, were clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
We had booked our evening meal, and once again the care, the friendliness from when we arrived at the bar was exceptional from all of the staff... Everyone including other customers were friendly and it was like being in a friend's house as Ennis' family and were there and he had time for all of the guests and nothing was too much trouble.
A great nights sleep followed and breakfast was exceptional too
We were sad to leave and will be going again soon!

Lovely cooked breakfast. Could have offered more variety eg. Cereals, yoghurt.
The furniture in the room was shabby, only 4 wire hangers in the wardrobe and the television was hanging sideways on the wall and it didn't work.
