RUN AWAY. The worst stay in my life

I booked an apartment with Maple Tree Budget Apartments and pay for it in December 2022. Instead of this they gave me a service room, dirty, with spiders at the corners, dust and without air conditioning, although I had reserved a room with air conditioning included. They asked for additional money for air conditioning without bothering to check that the room was not equipped with an air conditioner. When I brought to their attention the unpleasantness, they informed me that they did not have time to clean the room. For months????? From the way the room looked, it was clear that they had not cleaned it for at least 3 months. Regarding the air conditioning, since the room was not equipped with an air conditioner, they suggested that I either take my luggage and leave if it doesn't suit me, or book a new room at a much higher price. To all this, I would add the rudeness of the staff and of the front desk manager. Finally, I wonder if the discrimination they applied to us was based on gender or nationality. Or both.

The photos on bookings.com gave us another impression of the appartment. We were a bit dissapointed.

It is near a subway station, and the washingmachine was the highlight of our trip.

The bathroom was very small and if you shower, all the water spray on the floor. After 6 people that showered it gets very messy. There was no aircons in the rooms, only one in the living area. But that aircon did have a remote. We opened the windows beacause of the heat, but closed it again as the other appartments was too noisy.

Excellent value-for-money

We booked a three rooms apartment which was perfect for our group of six. Spacious and well divided, kitchen had everything one would need for a breakfast. Quiet neighborhood, no noises from outside or inside the building. Walking distance to most attractions, and close to bus and metro station. And helpful staff.

Good location but poor sound insulation and no plants so feels empty.

Size was good. Studio like room. Got washing machine, bath, utensils, microwave, stove and oven. And a good sized kitchen with dinner table. Location is good with ample of food and shops around. Tram and bus stops nearby.

Sound Insulation is poor. Anyone loud in the corridor can be heard. But there is no feel to the place. Lame old couch with picture but no plants or anything else to fill the space as shown in pictures. Without all the plants, the place feels empty not welcoming. Also not in the same apartment complex where reception is. Another couple of buildings ahead. Not kid friendly as there are door frames between rooms and balcony is not covered but has wide gap railings.

reception ok, cleaning service catastrophe, rubbish not cleaned the whole stay. The cleaning service did not take out the rubbish and threw it at our door. is this some kind of joke?

Cheap, clean and comfortable location.

The apartment was clean and in a great location. It had everything we needed for our trip. The beds were comfortable and the fridge was really big. The shower was really powerful.

It was very warm inside and we couldn’t open the windows as there was an apartment full of boys across from ours who were partying morning to night. They were really noisy which meant we couldn’t open the windows. The communal hall areas could use a fresh coat of paint as there is graffiti on them. The sofa inside the apartment wasn’t very comfortable and there were very few channels we could watch on the tv as all the English does king shows had other languages dubbed over the top of them.

Exceptional

The apartment was delightful! Top location, clean accommodation, modern style. The staff was very nice, they helped us choose a cruise on the Dunav River and also recommended amazing restaurants with delicious food. Perfect quality for the money we paid. Definitely would recommend it!

The location of the apartment is brilliant , 15 mins walk or get into the tram which is about 5 mins away from all the entertainment venues in pest

Very convenient location close to transport and easy to get to the sites of Budapest , spacious well equipped apartment, and very helpful staff.

Very good

In 3 days of accommodation, no one came to fix the leaking toilet, and the running water was bothersome during the night's sleep. At the same time, during a 3-night stay, it should not happen that you run out of toilet paper. We had 3 apartments

Amazing city, nice apartment, recommended for sure

I arrived too early morning on weekend, but anyway host meet us as soon as possible and we had early check-in, we pay extra 15 euro for early check-in but it was comfortable for us. Location of the apartment was very good, there was a lot of places to eat, supermarkets, nice bars not far from apartment, room was big and comfortable, bed was nice also, kitchen was clean and comfortable, it was very warm at room always which is amazing because I was there in December while outside was too cold, this apartment is recommended for sure

Check in was made easy although we got there super late at night. Good location. Everything was in about 40 min walking distance so super close. Clean apartment, comfortable and big.
