About this house rental
Situated in Balboa Island, this charming house for $733 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Deep cleaning before every Stay. New large dining table (110 inches) and new chairs for dining room. High ceilings, skylights in the Master BR and upstairs hallway, central Air Conditioning and Heating, Gigabit internet and a large, well-stocked kitchen and dining room with new appliances await your holiday! Each bedroom includes its own full bathroom so there are totally 3 bathrooms with shower or tub (or both). Each BR includes its own TV as well. Our front room has a brand new leather sofa and overstuffed comfy chair. 1 inflatable Queen mattress pad and 1 XL Twin inflatable pad provide additional sleeping options. Upstairs Master is a California King with a brand new bath tub and new shower tile. Upstairs Guest Bedroom features 3 beds (including 1 Bunk bed with a twin and a full) and 1 large twin bed. All have new mattresses which are extremely comfortable. Upstairs Guest Bedroom also includes its own private attached bathroom with new full bath tub and shower. Roof deck has a table and several chairs and can seat 8-10 comfortably. The roof patio is one of the best spots for sunset watching at the end of your day. Our home comes included with a private dock as well. Home is officially licensed by Newport Beach (business license number BT20060905 Short-term Lodging Permit number: SLP10135) and is professionally managed and professionally cleaned with disinfectants before and after each Stay. Price includes 10 percent Transient Occupancy Tax (TOT).

Our children live all over the country, so Christmas and New Year’s is the one time a year we can always count on being together. We decided to do the gift of time this year and spend a few days altogether.
We had the best time together, exploring, playing games, lots of laughter and the priceless gift of family together.
The location was perfect to shop and eat in the village. We had more Balboa bars than we should have. I think we’d like to make this an annual destination.

Great location convenient to the main commercial street on Balboa. Walking distance to market and restaurants.
Gregory was more than accommodating, responsive and helpful. We could not find the blender and notified Gregory and he delivered a new blender the same day.
Welcoming basket from him was a real treat and very much appreciated.
Extra refrigerator in the garage is very helpful with six guests.
Would rent again for next August, but it was already taken.
Some minor wears and tears in flooring and walls not abnormal for a rental property.
Garage can hold one large car, possibly two small due to challenge of navigating in due to dumpsters in alley behind garage. Additional parking on Little Island was very convenient.
All in all, a good choice for the price.

This place was perfect for our stay! We stayed the weekend and this house was the perfect location with cute shopping and food around the corner. the house itself was just what we needed with plenty of space and just enough sleeping areas for 10 people. Would stay again!

It was like Christmas morning for my family when we walked into the rental! The rental was so clean, inviting, bright and airy. There were kayaks, board games, sand toys, everything we needed for the beach was also easily accessible (chairs, towels, etc..) Two parking spots in the garage that we were so grateful for. Many extras were not unnoticed here-the extra towels everywhere, the fancy toilets, the rooftop, the bbq grill, so much storage and the home is nice and big! We had the time of our lives! My favorite part is the location, just steps away from the main road on Balboa where there is everything you could possibly want and need-restaurants, shopping, activities…there is a mini beach out front and your own private dock! Wonderful wonderful stay! Thank you soooo much for hosting us!

Greg was an awesome host! He was extremely communicative and always available to answer my questions from the moment I booked the rental to the actual days of the rental and during.
The home itself is beautiful and in such a fun location. The roof top was our favorite! The home is right behind the little market which made last minute grocery purchases a breeze. Not to mention how walkable it was to everything else on the main road.
I’d highly recommend Greg’s property for your next Newport trip! You won’t regret it!

This was a girls trip to play pickleball in Newport Beach. The host was always prompt in communications. The property was better than advertised. Outdoor and indoor spaces were thoughtful decorated with plenty of space for 5 of us to share. My only complaint was I didn’t tag on a couple of more days to the trip to enjoy all this property had to offer.

Our family had a wonderful reunion on the island. It is absolutely magical during the holidays. We had originally booked the wrong date and the owner was so kind to adjust his schedule to accommodate the dates we needed.

Great Trip Away
Thanks for a wonderful vacation. The location was fantastic, we never moved our car and enjoyed walking through town, taking the ferry and enjoying the accommodations of the rental. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies and they had beach equipment at the property for us to use. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

From the beginning Greg was great to work with. He is very responsive and it is evident that he goes the extra mile to insure his renters have a great stay. If you are new to the Island, you should know that it is a very busy tourist area, especially around the holidays. But that is also what makes it fun! Getting on and off the island can be dicey at times, but it is worth it. The location of the home is fantastic. The house sits right behind the main street (shares an alley) which means you can walk everywhere, which is nice because parking can get difficult. The market is across the ally and has everything you need including a great café where you can get food to go if you don't want to cook. Of course there are also restaurants along the street as well to sit down or take out.The home comes with two bikes (great to ride over to the ferry launch) and two kayaks. There is also a small dock and water front in front of the home. It take two adults to get the kayaks down and into the water but after that our 12 year old boys had no problem paddling around on their own.The house itself is quite roomy. Keep in mind that this is a weekly water front rental so it does get a fair amount of wear and tear. But the owner really does a good job of maintaining it. The kitchen was well stocked and has new appliances. There are ample linens and towels including some beach towels. Bring your own shampoo and soap, those were scarce.If I am forced to write a negative it would be that the main floor bedroom has a King bed which is a bit too big for the room. It is hard to navigate the closet. Also, the upstairs master is lacking sufficient closet space due to the lock off owner closet. Neither is a huge deal, just maybe something to be aware of.We are excited to stay again the next time we are in Newport. The location and fun house are tough to beat!

Excellent Vacation Home
We had an amazing time in this home! Our Maui trip was canceled so we decided to do a week long staycation in Balboa. The location is perfect...across the street from the Main Street with restaurants, ice cream, etc and it’s the perfect spot to sit on the patio, enjoy the water view and relax. We traveled with our 15 and 17 year olds (and their 15 year old friend) and the house was perfect...each had their own room, bathroom and tv. Gary is very attentive and so easy to work with...highly recommend him

The house was super cute and clean with gorgeous views of the canal and Island. We enjoyed the kayaks provided with the unit everyday taking them for a cruise around the small Island. We did a ton of walking, kayaking , and playing cards on the patio. Wonderful trip.

We Loved this Place!
Great location close to shopping and restaurants. This property is well kept and plenty of room for my So Cal family to visit. Especially good instructions left by the owner for TV, etc. The smart toilet in the master was an added bonus! LOL! I will definitely be booking this place again!
