I really loved the pod-style beds. It felt like having my own little cocoon, which gave me so much more privacy than a typical hostel dorm. It was cozy, comfortable and perfect for a good night’s sleep.

Great value for money - you get what you pay for and we were happy with it. The staff were fantastic made us feel welcome and very accommodating with our cars and kayaks to keep them parked off the road and safe.
Its budget - dont expect loofahs and artisan soaps! But perfect for us.

What a lovely spot! Parking out front, adjacent to all the necessary services and provisions (eg supermarket, easy walk to the centre), staff are friendly and approachable and very helpful. Love the huge platform beds that have space around them and thoughtful places for your belongings, and they are equipped with two pillows and a duvet - most hostels only have a sheet/blanket and one flat pillow, so this was luxury! Bunk beds also have proper steps up them rather than ladders which is fabulous. Communal bathrooms were kept clean and orderly. Didn’t use the kitchen facilities. Premises felt secure.
Was perfect for a short stay, only wish to have stayed longer instead of another hostel which was really disappointing in comparison! FJs has set the bar high!

Very good location, beautiful view (2nd floor) nice staff, free luggage storage and cool dining area
The bed is movable that my mom nearly slipped to the floor. Most of the switches are broken. No hangers for clothes. The bathroom drain was blocked when taking shower. The couches and towels were quite worn out. A bit noisy from street and next doors
