About this house rental
This large, single family home with spacious wrap-around porches is a wonderful place to relax with family and friends! Located on the water side of coveted Chatham Avenue, just one house back from the beach, it is only a few short steps from Tybee's beautiful Back River. Enjoy sea breezes and views of the water, Little Tybee Island, and beautiful sunsets from the porches or beach. Tucked away from crowds in a quiet residential neighborhood, the large cottage is only a short stroll from the larger oceanfront beach, restaurants, shops, and the parade route. The house is very bright and open, with cheerful colors, an abundance of windows, and pretty views of the water. Sliding glass doors in every single room, except the dining room, lead to 10' deep wraparound porches. With over 1,300 square feet of outdoor living space, there are multiple sitting and dining areas available on the porches, including a coveted top floor hammock! The best place to clean up after a long day of fun in the sun is in the outdoor shower, which has hot and cold water and is conveniently located next to the gate to the beach.
The fishing pier can be a little busy on weekends during peak season, but privacy fences and mature trees, including a beautiful old oak in the front yard, help make the house feel secluded. As one guest put it, it's almost like you are in a large tree house with water views!

Nice, large house, plenty of room, very clean. Easy access to beach and pier! Multi generational trip, everyone enjoyed the location. Easy walk to downtown/ shops/ restaurants/ plenty of parking spaces. Very good communication with host, prompt to answer. Excellent experience!

Gorgeous property! The variety of outdoor seating couldn’t have been better plus just a few steps over to the beach and just a few blocks over from shopping, food and fun as well! This home is perfectly stocked with more than enough needed items to stay in and cook, make some fun family memories together with games or a day at the beach. We very much enjoyed our stay and all it’s amenities!
