Peaceful Getaway

Such a warm, cosy cottage, the surroundings were just gorgeous, and we also really appreciated the complimentary breakfast items that were supplied.

If I had to choose something it would have to be that the internet connection and phone service wasn't great.

A Little Piece of Paradise

Kookaburra Cottage. Everything ...... from the staff to the location to the attention to detail. The Complimentary breakfast foods are more than welcome, the heater was SO warm on the 2 degree mornings, the bed was comfy, the decor is wonderful, great couches, the gardens are beautiful and well maintained, fully equipped kitchen, spa bath, and everything was super clean.

There was nothing to dislike.

A beautiful, cosy cottage perfect for a weekend away.

Once we arrived at the location, we were amazed at the beautiful spot that the cottage was placed. The room was cosy, perfect for the cold weekend, and the complimentary food and drink was lovely. Overall was a great experience and would go back again!

The only issue I had was that the hot water was limited. We wanted to have a bath and was filling up the bath with warm water but that only lasted for a couple of minutes and turned to cold water. We waited for 30 mins to see if it would get hotter and it didn't so unfortunately couldn't have a nice bath.

Cottage was just what we needed to relax for the weekend.

Loved quiet location and tranquility. Not too far from local shops, but felt like we were in deep in the bush. Perfect. Breakfast was amazing! and the short walk to the gardens was a bonus.

The only little thing we found was when the rain hit the chimney it would sometimes make a loud Ting sound, that at night would occasionally wake us up. We know this could not be helped, but it’s the only fault we could find.

Idyllic moutain cottage getaway with all the bells and whistles

Breakfast was fantastic as was the self catering facilities. The little cottage had everything we needed in it and more. Well heated ad very comfortable. All they need to invest in is a more well lit mirror!

Cozy, romantic cottage with very thoughtful touches throughout.

Super cozy cottage and beautiful gardens with great privacy! I loved the four poster bed, bath tub and fireplace. There were loads of thoughtful touches like fresh flowers, milk in the fridge and heart chocolates.

The tv & tv controller weren't working very well. Wifi barely worked.

Superb

Beautiful cottage under a canopy of trees. Very blissful. Little touches added and much appreciated, and a very comfortable bed.

Bit stuffy and hot up in the loft for sleeping in summer. I would definitely recommend adding a lovely fan.

An amazing cabin in a stunning location

Amazingly beautiful room in a gorgeous location. It was nothing short of incredible. I loved the roof and the bed and the entire room was an experience in itself.

quiet, secluded and romantic

everything you need for a delicious breakfast. a short walk from the centre of Olinda, around the corner from the botanic gardens. the warm heater. the gardens. so much to like about this property.

not much, perhaps some will find the lack of *flix capable TV a negative but i suspect most will find that a positive. one gripe very small gripe, there is a nice collection of DVDs but it lacked anything from the horror genre.

The breakfast was well worth the money, and packaged beautifully.

The only thing I would change is a larger bed.
