Quite un-prepossessing on first look this is an excellent hotel in a great location close to the famous Rennes Saturday market. Rooms were large and tastefully done and the bar/lounge area is a delight. Dinner was a fixed menu of the day at a really great price. Overall a top pick in Rennes.

Easy access to centre. Clean, comfortable bed and quiet location.
Weather very hot and small fan in room not effective in keeping it cool enough to sleep well. Needed a more powerful fan.

Very close to Place De Lices to experience the Saturday Market. Very unique setting. Dinner was spectacular. No choice - but great meal and very reasonable price.
The park behind has noisy inhabitants till very late into the night but the double glazing windows kept out all noise after being closed.

The staff were incredibly helpful and pleasant. I really liked the decorations of the hotel.
No air conditioning in the rooms. Temperatures reached close to 40 degrees and the room was so hot and uncomfortable.
