It is a lovely property in a great location.
We were in Pioneer room for the first time in many stays. The room is small, but well equipped with a double bed. Unfortunately the mattress is very uncomfortable as were the pillows and did not provide a good night’s sleep. Also you could easily hear the occupants of the adjacent room as if they were with you.

Well appointed traditional hotel, clean and comfortable with lots of character. Staff were friendly and helpful. Ample parking.
To access the room we had to climb a very steep set of stairs which felt quite dodgy, but this was part of the character of the place.
