The location was beautiful. Staff were lovely and the food was delicious. Plentiful hot water.
Room decor and common areas were a little ‘tired’ although very clean.

It was in a good location for the wedding we were attending. Plenty of parking. The staff were pleasant.
I feel quite duped, the photos portrayed a 4* country pub with rooms. Thisit is was not, and no 4 star accommodation should ever have bare hardboard on the floor.
The parts of the accommodation we saw need redecoration and repair.
It was also concerning that we arrived back just after 11pm, and the place was in darkness. We had to use our phone torch to find our way through the downstairs maze to our room upstairs and to find the door to the staircase took several attempts as it was sticking so at first thought it was the wrong door. Panic was starting to kick in before a big pull on another try pulled it open.
