Gorgeous old building, tastefully decorated and furnished, comfortable and clean, thoughtful little touches, absolutely top notch breakfast
Parking was limited, and challenging in a long wheel base van!

A beautiful property with a beautifully decorated interior.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Room was pretty and clean.
Breakfast was lovely with a good selection.
Came back from eating out at 9.30pm, looking to take a drink upstairs but the bar was closed and locked already.

Lovely helpful staff, who liked my dog!
Room was small and too hot (hardly surprising, given the weather). Noisy machinery throughout the night, and we couldn’t close the windows. No choice of pillows (I sleep on my front), and I ended up with a very stiff neck.
Breakfast felt very old-fashioned. Filter coffee? Fine, but from the nineties. Packaged bread? Fine, but there are artisan bakers everywhere these days. Great sausage, but all a bit THF….sorry to be picky, but I had expected something better for the price. Staff were all brilliant, working really hard. Thank you.
