All suites have views of the mountain. It was a good place to acclimatize before you go up Machu Picchu. Beautiful garden, excellent food selections for breakfast. The grounds are very well-kept. You can pretty much stay there for days and be happy. The indoor pool was very welcoming after a day's hike.

The hotel and grounds are amazing! A piece of paradise in the sacred valley!! The staff were very helpful and friendly. The pools, both indoor and outdoor are fabulous!
I liked the sound of the optional activities, unfortunately most weren't able to be booked for a solo traveller.
Transfers organised by the hotel were very expensive. I arranged some trips with local drivers I located in town for significantly less.

The property was beautiful & well maintained with attentive staff. We stayed in a spacious deluxe king room.
The only access to the hotel from Urubamba is a narrow dirt & stone road.

Our room was spacious, clean and a fantastic view of the mountains. I loved the breakfast - great variety. Every member of staff was very friendly and professional. The gardens were beautiful, with stone formations, hidden underground cave, little childrens playground, llamas, amazing flowers. A little colouring set for my daughter and a free lunch/snack pack on one day was a lovely touch. we would love to return.
The bathrooms/changing rooms/area near the walls/lounging deck chairs in indoor spa pool area were not cleaned very often- same stains on the floor for the 3 days we were there and dead ants. The garden area outside the spa pool really ruins the view - rubbish, bricks and dead plants- a pity as the rest of the gardens are spectacular. The cushions for the chairs for the outdoor pool lay on the grass for 3 days, guests had to pick them up to use them- they really should be brought in at night and replaced in the morning to prevent mould/insects/dirt.

EVERYTHING, the hotel is amazing! the hotel is impeccable, the place is wonderful with the view of the mountains and river, as well as llamas roaming freely around the hotel. the room was decorated full of rose petals in a perfect and super beautiful decoration! I have no words to thank the staff, giving a special mention to Maria, Jamil, Hector, Abel and the chef. it's worth having dinner at the hotel, delicious food!

1) Lovely staff: kindly storage our large luggage on our way to Macchu Picchu and gently left on our room upon our arrival
2) Amazing room: Double height ceilings and roof with woods
3) Amazing bathroom: box, warm floor , awesome shower
4) Stunning pools: outdoor pool with infinity view towards the Urubamba river and indoor warm pool with river view
5) Awesome food both in breakfast and dinner
Must have for future improvements: paper less check-in online, warm water in the outdoor pool heater with solar energy and update photos displayed at booking.com (hotels looks greater in real than on availables photos)

distance from the town of Urubamba is about 3 km, which makes for a long walk or a bumpy taxi or moto taxi ride down a dusty and not very scenic road.

the hotel has everything you would need. the rooms as spacious, the pool area is amazing, the indoor pool is lovely and the location is a bit further from the center (which we liked). the staff is super friendly and helpful in every situation. could not be better!

impeccably clean and well cared for, this property was a lovely stop. the staff was extremely attentive and helpful. we absolutely loved the incredible collection of art and details in every corner. our dinner with the extremely talented chef, Ricardo Serrano, was exceptional and a total surprise.

The location of the property is hidden away, very quiet. The view from the room was breathtaking and we enjoyed the breakfast at outside of the room overlooking the mountains and river! It was one of the best places we stayed in our trip in Peru.
The property was sparkling clean and dust free, but the rooms were under decorated. There was no painting nor wall hanging etc in the room, since the floor is wooden floor and no soft furnishings, a bit of echoing going on.I wished they decorated rooms with those beautiful textile wall hangings they have at lobby, so noise level could dampen down.

This property was amazing We had no idea it was so gracious. It´s beautiful, spacious, very well appointed. The many impressive work of art in many different mediums was wonderful. We will tell our family and friends not to miss a chance to stay here.
The road into the property is unpaved, crocked, narrow and very dark for late arrivals. It was hard to find the entrance which was poorly lit also.
The breakfast could have had more choices and an on line chef to prepare orders.
