Econo Lodge Inn & Suites Cayce I-26 Airport

The room felt updated and seemed very clean except that there was a roach when we first entered the room.

In all the years I've used booking to reserve hotels, I've never seen a difference in price for rooms when entering 1-4 occupants, so I've stopped bothering to change it. I'll take responsibility there. However, to be told at check in that it would be an extra $88 because the room rate went up for having 2 adults and 2 children was crazy. I was told that the manager closely watches cameras to see how many people you bring and if you don't declare there's a problem. The clerk offered to have the manager call me in the morning to discuss, but I never got a call. After checking my statement, I now see I was charged $7 and $95 which is also not the $88 I was told. I was planning to stay here again when we come in Feb, but I have cancelled my second reservation and will not be returning.

Clean rooms, staff was very friendly

Nothing

Quiet, clean, friendly and good breakfast.

Breakfast was over at 9:00. They charged $3.50 per night for parking on top of the room cost.

It was okay.
