Mont-Sant

Loved the fact we had a separate entrance to our room with an infinity pool. I liked that we had 2 door keys. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, in a polite and professional way. Lovely selection of toiletries in case you forgot anything and nice tea and coffee making facilities. So nice to see the hotel grounds lit up and the greenery was lovely.

One of our party was vegetarian but we were not shown a vegetarian menu until after we had eaten our meal and apologised for leaving the fish dish, explaining, and we were then given a vegetarian menu-which was then too late. The food was very well presented and cooked-we were there for lunch and dinner-quite a limited choice (no chicken!) but what we had was excellent and the desserts were fantastic-worth going again for another dessert.

The breakfast was great, real coffee, scramble eggs made by the chef, they served everything that was expected for a really great breakfast buffe.

Beautiful gardens and terrace within walking distance up to Castel Mont Sant and old center below. Reception super friendly and good restaurant. WiFi good and plenty of parking. Large bathroom and nice sitting area inside and out on terrace. Sitting in nature. Bathroom is large and comfortable for 2 people.

Restaurant was good but menu confusing and staff doesn’t seem used to non-Spanish speaking guests. rooms could use new beds- I could feel the springs in mine. need to reserve well in advance for meals at restaurant but chef is quite good.

The restaurant’s menu was lack luster and expensive.
