only negative was a music festival on nearby so loud music for 3 nights til 1am whilst there and quite noisey traffic as on a road

The bed was extra-large and the pillows comfortable. The bed was a bit firm for my liking. The Wi-Fi worked well in the room. The staff were generally nice and efficient.
The hotel is totally overpriced! Three star, small room, very simply furnished, small bathroom, in a noisy are facing the sea promendate which is also busy with cars. The breakfast was super basic. Lots of sweets. The scrambled eggs were hard and rubbery, and the boiled eggs quite hard too. The pool area is quite crammed and the gym is not air conditioned. An old tired hotel for à sky high price in early September. Check out at 10 am, not possible to extend for extra payment (fully booked). The beach is not really pleasant: hard sand, very shallow sea, the water was murky. Alghero is the least attractive part of the island, actually.

Great location along the main strip in Alghero. There is a lovely beach directly across the road from the hotel with sunbeds for hire. You are about half way between the camping area and the old town in the port.
The staff were lovely and friendly. The rooms were cleaned on a daily basis.
The pool area was always kept spotless.
Our room was very basic; especially for the price per night. There are no tea/coffee facilities available and there is no iron available for use in the room or at reception. They charge extra to have clothing items ironed.
There are no drawers or doors on the wardrobe, making the room look quite messy and cluttered all the time.
Each bedside shelf was so small - I could fit my kindle and phone on it but not much else!
Our room was located at the back of the hotel - this was very noisy from both road traffic and pedestrians - not the fault of the hotel obviously.
