The location is very close to Patong without being in the chaos. The view from our room in 5209 was spectacular. The room was spacious and comfortable. The air-conditioning kept our room cool and comfortable. The buffet breakfast had many options and kept us full for most of the day. The roof top bar was amazing especially during sunset. The view of Kamala Beach was picture perfect and very relaxing. The pool was right next to the breakfast area and had many places to relax. The tour booking table was very helpful and helped us book 2 fantastic tours and a show at Carnival magic. Of course you pay a little extra with the hotel but not much and for the stress free factor with booking hotel pick ups and transfers it was well worth it.
The gym was very nice and the spa was relaxing. Will definitely book again. Highly recommend.
During our stay parts were being renovated but the staff we're all very gracious and kept areas as clean as possible without too much noise or disruption.

The sky bar and infinity pool offer great views. Kamala Beach and nearby shops are about a 10-minute walk away, though note that ongoing construction means a short stretch lacks a proper walkway and requires walking on the road. During check-in, they let you choose the scent for the Hand wash, Shower gel, Shampoo and Conditioner. Breakfast is ok. Most of the staff are very friendly, especially the Vanilla Sky Bar staff.
Partial views: All rooms feature a sea view, but it includes looking at the rooftops of the villas opposite.
Noise levels: Traffic can get quite noisy at times.

The location and facilities
Most front office staff were indifferent to borderline rude. Some were full of excuses. Lack of housekeeping service and poor quality of amenities.
