We have stayed in many hotels around the world, and this was without doubt one of the best experiences we have ever had. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the whole experience was excellent. What truly stood out was the warmth of the hospitality and the genuine care that made us feel so welcome throughout our stay. A memorable experience that exceeded our expectations—we would return in a heartbeat.

all was great

Where to start..... On arrival and throughout our stay, the staff were extremely helpful, friendly and really made the effort! As we were celebrating our one year wedding anniversary, they upgraded us to a beautiful villa, which exceeded all of our expectations. They even gifted us a bottle of champagne and some little treats, which was a really thoughtful gesture. The hotel itself was immaculate and was in a great location, just enough to be away from the hustle and bustle. The attention to detail was superb. All in all we had a fantastic stay, would highly recommend.

The fact we couldn't of stayed longer

The hotel is huge, very well-maintained, with nice views and spacious rooms. The bathroom is super big and fully equipped. We didn't have to pay additionally for the car-park. It was my birthday and I received a bottle a champagne, cake and macarons completely free of charge. The staff was exceptionally helpful and nice. We will definitely come back!

Everything was great

The hotel itself is absolutely gorgeous, and the pool area in particular is lovely and very relaxing. The location is slightly up on a hill, which means you get stunning views from many parts of the property. The staff made a great first impression at check in and were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They always had a smile and were up for a laugh, which really added to the atmosphere.

There were a few aspects of the stay that did not quite meet our expectations for a five star hotel. The garden room felt quite dark and although the view was decent, with a glimpse of the sea, the main issue was the bed setup. It was two single beds pushed together with no proper joining, which was not ideal when we had specifically booked a king room. To their credit, after I mentioned it in the survey, staff quickly came to add a topper to help join them, which we appreciated, but it would have been better if this had been arranged from the start. On the second and third nights, we only had thin sheets on the bed rather than a duvet or comforter, which felt a bit unusual for this standard of hotel. We also booked the barbecue buffet one evening and unfortunately found it disappointing, especially at 35 euros per person. There was a huge selection of side dishes, but the barbecue items themselves were limited, and it felt more like an indoor grill service than an actual barbecue. It was our last night and we had chosen to stay in at the hotel, so this was a bit of a letdown. We did have a massage at the spa which was excellent, but we were surprised that after paying 80 euros each, access to the spa pool was not included, not even briefly. We had assumed we would be able to enjoy some of the facilities as part of the experience. Overall, the stay was fine, but there were too many small things that did not quite align with the price point. At over 300 euros per night, we were expecting a bit more, and while we were not exactly disappointed, we did leave feeling underwhelmed. Unfortunately, it is not somewhere we would choose to return to.
