The car port in the garden had ebike charging, very useful. The hotel is just a few metres away from the centre so handy for everything.
The sliding gate to the garden is VERY heavy. It took two of us to get it moving.

My stay here far exceeded my expectations. The self check-in machine at the main door worked perfectly, accepted card payment, and was available in several languages. After paying, I got my receipt and physical key from the machine. The room itself was simply sublime. Even though it was set in an old house, the furnishings and facilities were very well-maintained and fully functional - hot water, lights, everything. Room and corridors were super clean and gave me comfy homely vibes, everything was lovingly and thoughtfully well-kept. I did not meet the hotel owner when I arrived, but on the second day, I bumped into her in the corridor and she was very warm and friendly, and gave me some handy tips on what to see and do in town. Location was also superb, being just a few minutes walk from one of the 'classic' picturesque corners of Rothenburg, the Plönlein. I would highly recommend staying here for a short or long stay - the hotel made my stay in Rothenburg ever more memorable.
Absolutely nothing! The hotel doesn't serve breakfast, but that was no issue at all - there are plenty of nice bakeries and cafes just around the corner.

Location is superb, dog friendly with a lovely garden which we relaxed in
The rooms weren’t what we expected. Having booked a two bed apartment for a family we didn’t expect two separate apartments with a share toilet.
This took us back on arrival especially with a self service check in, however a quick phone call with the owner meant the toilet wasn’t to be shared with any additional guests

The location was excellent.
The apartment was not as expected. The toilet for the two bedrooms was external to the rooms, which was inconvenient.
