We had a wonderful stay at Vasia Boulevard Hotel and would happily come back!
One of the first things I loved about the hotel was its beautiful, modern design. The lobby is especially lovely, with large windows overlooking the sea. You can sit inside and still feel as if the Mediterranean is right in front of you.
The location is absolutely perfect. Hersonissos was very lively and busy during our stay, but the hotel is positioned in such a convenient spot that you get the best of both worlds. You are just steps away from the main streets with restaurants, bars and shops, yet when you walk out towards the other side, you are immediately by the sea.
The beach directly in front of the hotel is not very large, but it is perfectly fine for relaxing, swimming and spending a few peaceful hours by the water. There are also many other small beaches and beautiful coves within easy walking distance.
The hotel is also an excellent base for exploring other parts of Crete without a car. The main road and bus stops are only about a 5-minute walk away. From there you can take buses towards the airport and also travel to places such as Malia and Potamos Beach, Agios Nikolaos and further towards the beautiful Voulisma Beach. This was a huge advantage for us.
Our room was modern, stylish, very clean and comfortable.
Another highlight was definitely the food. We had breakfast and dinner included and were impressed by both the quality and the variety. Breakfast is served until 11:00, which is wonderful when you are on holiday and don't want to wake up early every morning. There is a large selection, including traditional Greek dishes as well as many other options.
Dinner was also something we looked forward to. In addition to the excellent selection and variety, there is an à la carte menu where you can choose between different main courses. The food was fresh, delicious and beautifully presented, and during our stay there was enough variety that it never felt repetitive.
Nothing significant. We had a wonderful experience and were very happy with our stay.

Excellent location on the seafront - we loved hearing the sound of the waves while we were sitting in our room. Loads of bars and restaurants close. Very good breakfast with a full a la carte and a good greek buffet. Spacious comfortable room with good air con and a very comfy bed. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is placed almost centrally.
The gym was so small and the air conditioner wasn’t working. Also, the gym equipment was old and didn’t work. The breakfast was a joke.
