A lovely boutique hotel with a charming atmosphere, almost like a scene from a romantic novel. The room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of towels. We also had no trouble finding a parking space. As we arrived after check-in hours, we collected the keys later, which was easy and went smoothly.
I especially liked the walk-in storage area between the bedroom and the bathroom, which was very convenient for keeping our luggage. The location of the hotel is excellent, right by the sea, and the town centre is about a pleasant 15-minute walk away. Breakfast was quite basic, with toast, Nutella, jams, cheese, cold cuts, yoghurt, cereals, tea, orange juice, etc.
The room was a little dark and could use some additional lighting.
Unfortunately, they had run out of baguettes at breakfast.

Clean comfortable and spacious, breakfast was good value, the location was excellent, the double glazing kept the noise of the road low and the air con was good.
Our ground floor room was on a busy road although the noise insulation was good and curtains reasonably good and keeping it private but allowing daylight.

very charming and helpful staff who made some excellent recommendation for restaurants. Clean room. Nice breakfast area. walking distance from St Jean de Luz.
A few disappointments. My wife and I rented a room with an enclosed balcony and one without for my mom both with a sea view. Although we appreciated having an enclosed balcony this made the rest of the room so small we had to walk sideways from one side of the bed to the other. My mom's room had more space. Our room being so small had no adequate space for a luggage rack to open a suitcase. The luggage rack was on the balcony witch would have made the space unusable if we had put the suitcases there. The phones did not work. The beach view was beautiful from the balcony however the the noise from the road just below was annoying with the windows opened so we had to close them most of the time. The shower tiles were very slippery and potentially dangerous for my mom who is 85 years and not too steady on her feet anymore. we had to put towels on the floor to avoid slipping. the small beach across the hotel was unfortunately closed. no fault of the hotel.

"A great place to stay! There is a small beach in front which you can use. Jean-Michelle (the host) was so kind and accommodating. The rooms were lovely with very large beds, AC, and lovely showers!!!!"
