The staff were very good - the check in process was smooth and I was given a choice of rooms. I selected a lower level room to limit traffic noise and that turned out to be a good choice. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was of high quality. The room had reverse cycle air conditioning, which warmed the room nicely. The aluminium windows were openable, but a little stiff because of their age - I closed the windows over night as it was a little chilly outside. The kitchenette facilities included cutlery and crockery, which was useful. The hotel location was good for exploring Rotorua, and there was on site parking.
The bathroom was a little tight, specifically the space between the shower cubicle and the vanity. The shower cubicle was a comfortable size however.

The room was a bit small, but clean and serviced well. The bed was comfortable and had an electric blanket. The bathroom was clean and had all the necessary accessories. The room had good access to the main road, and parking was just outside the room. there was a small garden view just outside the window, and the back door had a veranda with chairs to enjoy the sunrise.
I think the only thing I can think of is the bathroom wooden sliding door didn't have a lock.

Lovely comfortable and staff are lovely. We stay last year and we didn't have an iron in the room, but they very kindly brought us one on request. We returned this time to see they have an iron in every room now, we loved that they improved this. Nice and close to our work venue we were down for, and lovel and warm.
Towels are small, Bring your own if you are fat or loose weight hahaha.
Need to dust the cobwebbs up in the ceiling fan, but otherwise very clean, didn't both us so much as we were mostly out for work more and FYI.
