I love this place firstly because it is a family run business. The staff are very nice. Lara, the front of house is one of the reasons we come to Skotel. She is very welcoming and always makes our arrival pleasant and uplifting. The location is one of the other main reasons we come to stay here. When you look out at the view, there is nothing but native scenery for miles. Its a beautiful place in a beautiful location. I choose to stay here because it is that and more.
I dont have anything here that I dont like. The Skotel looks after us.

We found the bar, restaurant, and ski hire all very convenient.
The guests using the communal kitchen didn’t follow standard backing packing kitchen rules which was frustrating. I constantly had to clean up dishes from other guests in order to use the kitchen for my family.

The location was great and the kitchen lounge area was nice and clean and comfy. The whole process was easy and staff helpful.
The shared bathrooms were not very clean.
