Lovely apartments, staff couldn't do enough for you, owner was very obliging and helpful. Complex was lovely and pretty too, nice clean pool also

We had a wonderful stay at Joannaās Villas and couldnāt have asked for a better place for our family holiday in Santorini! ā¤ļø
The location in Kamari was perfect for us ā close to the beach, restaurants and shops, but still peaceful and relaxing. Travelling with two children, we felt very comfortable and at home throughout our stay.
Breakfast was generous and had everything we needed to start the day, and one of our favourite little moments was enjoying it outside by the pool every morning. Such a lovely and relaxing way to begin a day in Santorini! āļø
Also, I need to mention that we had new and clean sheets and towels every day.
What we appreciated most, however, was the kindness and flexibility of our hosts. Because both our arrival and departure flights were during the night, they kindly offered us an early check-in and a late check-out at no additional cost. When travelling with children, this makes such a huge difference, and we were incredibly grateful for it.
The whole place has a warm, relaxed and authentic Greek atmosphere, and after a day of exploring the island, it was always lovely to come back.

Vangelis was honestly one of the best hosts weāve ever had. We landed very early, around 8 AM, and he welcomed us immediately, helped us check in, and even invited us to have breakfast. It was such a warm welcome and made us feel at home from the very first moment.
The room looked great and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The pool area was lovely, and the breakfast was also excellent.
What we appreciated most was the atmosphere, it didnāt feel like just staying at a hotel, it felt more like being welcomed into a family.

We absolutely loved the location of Joanna Villas, a sensational view at breakfast and a very short walk to the shops, restaurants, bars, the beach and promenade. A short bus ride into Fira was also a plus.
Breakfast on offer was a wide selection of fruits, pastries, breads and cereals, eggs, meats and cheeses. Fresh coffee was available from a proper coffee machine and fresh orange juice and Greek yogurt was brought to your table.
The pool and surrounding area was comfortable, always clean and enough beds and umbrellas for all, Vangelis bringing out the daily offering of watermelon was a lovely touch and much appreciated! No strict closing time on the pool was a great touch as with long days out and about, a dip in the pool upon our return was much needed.
We felt welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Vangelis and his family, the cleaners and the staff, everyone was just lovely and made our holiday a very memorable one. Upon asking Vangelis for late check out, he let us stay in our room until late, nothing was too much trouble!
Our room was comfortable with lovely beds, a great shower, toiletries and hairdryer. The small kitchenette was adequate, a large fridge with lots of room to chill foods and drinks. Our apartment had great air conditioning and black out blinds.
We also had a cute little patio with a table and chairs and a clothes rack to dry our towels on. Fresh pool towels were available everyday and we could also take them to the beach. We would 100% come back here as we had a really lovely holiday!!
There was nothing to not like!! If I was to be really picky, maybe a cold drinks machine would be great but the shop was 5 mins away and Vangelis, when he was there, was more than happy to share his beers with us!! So, this is no way a criticism, maybe just a suggestion.
