The location is worth booking this hotel!

The hotel is located within the walls of the castle. Quite spectacular! If coming by car, go up till the main entrance, there are parking spaces there.

The stuff was rather unfriendly. They could hardly find our booking although there were very few guests in the hotel. The spa is open only from 18.00-22.00.

The location is great. You live in a castle.

The staff was not smiling and hospitable, the breakfast was poor. Spa was quite small. For this price you can live in best hotels of the Georgia. This is definitely not one of them.

Very good

The concept of the hotel and the historical lock and location.

The internal design of the room, despite large size but the items are unorganized. There is no historical lock of the room.

Cool to stay in the castle walls, but more of a basic, not spa-like, hotel.

The setting was amazing inside the old castle walls. The room was very clean. There were several restaurants within walking distance.

The bed was really hard leading to sore backs. The room felt very basic instead of upscale and "spa-like".

I have been staying at this hotel for several years now. It is nice and not many hotels in the area are as good as this one. It has small spa facilities, several saunas and a hot tub. The hotel is in the fortress, and has access to the museum and old mosque. The food in the restaurant is very nice too.

The noise from the corridor is annoying, and would be good to have a bottle of water in the room too.

Wonderful stay

Very comfortable beds - best of our trip. Great location inside the castle. The shower is great and closed so that water does not get everywhere (as in most other hotels).

Everything was great. The directions could be improved to make it clear that the entrance for hotels guests is at the lower castle entrance with reserved parking just in front of the walk-in gates.

Really nice hotel in lovely castle

Really nice hotel in the middle of the beautiful castle. The Spa is a nice bonus and we liked the breakfast too.

During check out a staff member goes to your room to check himself if you really did not use anything from the minibar as stated. This is so…outdated and distrustful towards the customer. Please stop this!

Superb

Amazing location, at the case. Then taking evening walk is fantastic. Plus 5 types of sauna -amazing. Price for those benefits, is then not high at all.

Stay away!

I liked leaving the place.

The first thing the reception did was laugh at my ethnicity, there were two people on the reception, the guy asked for my passport and scoffed when he saw it, kept sarcastically laughing and calling me "Arabsky". I've never faced such racism before in my life. I booked a junior suite with a garden view, i got a twin room were the beds are put together, and a brick wall for a view. When i asked to change the room they blatantly said No. Although i could see more available rooms, the hotel was near empty. The spa and wellness do not exist, they have a sauna room and a jacuzzi that they consider to be their spa. It only opens from 6pm to 10pm and all the residents are there with their kids. You can join if you don't mind some skin infection. They are based in a castle which is meant to be a touristic site, but they don't even provide complimentary access to the residents, we had to buy entry tickets. The breakfast was horrendous and they made us pay for coffee.

The instalations were very clean... and the hotel area inside the castle is amazing all the city view is great from the castle is a place to visit for sure

The hotel personnel was not very kind.. maybe language barriers.. the english is not very common in Georgia. If you planning to stay in this hotel.. make sure to travel light, the parking area is around 100mt from the hotel front desk and no one absolutely helps you with the luggage

Not worth the stay.

The only thing that I liked was the location of the hotel and the cleanliness. Breakfast was alright.

This place did not meet our expectations. Firstly, we were excited to use the Spa but it is ONLY open from 6 PM - 10 PM so the entire hotel guest list is in the Spa at that time INCLUDING children running around splashing around which is not relaxing. I have nothing against children being there however, they should open up the Spa throughout the day or have time blocks so we have the choice to go at a quieter less crowded time. Secondly, we were not allowed to book any massages throughout our stay due to no masseuse working, another disappointment for a "Wellness & Spa" Hotel. Lastly, the hotel staff wasn't particularly nice either, actually rather rude when asking a FEW (not even 3) questions with abruptly answering no before I could finish my question. Overall, I would not come back, the castle is beautiful which by the way, you have to pay extra to enter and the hotel doesn't have a complimentary pass for guests.
