The environment is great, with wonderful trails in the Bois d' Anlier. The room we had was lovely, and even though the prices are rather high, I have to say they absolutely delivered on our expectations! The staff were friendly, and the enthusiastic entrepreneur we met (the owner, we think?) was truly marvellous. He gave us wonderful tips for exploring the neighbourhood and turned out to be a great cook too (the restaurant next door is run by the same family). We loved the restaurant, and the food we had ('Menu Gibier et Champignons') was simply exquisite. The ladies from housekeeping were lovely as well, and I was so happy to be able to buy a bathing suit for the sauna that I'd forgotten to pack, a thoughtful touch.
Let me mention first that we had a marvellous time and were very happy with our stay overall, but since Booking asks for detailed feedback: it would be a lovely addition if there were a few more seating options, such as lounge chairs at the spa, and perhaps a little space outside to relax and cool down after the sauna. The spa itself was beautifully clean, and the sauna was great, though it was a bit tricky to cool down afterwards, as the relaxing area was right next to the whirlpool, in a spot that stays quite warm, doesn’t really allow you to lie down and chill. Just a small suggestion for an already lovely experience

Lovely setting next to the lake and friendly staff
There is no where for guests to sit and relax indoors during the evening if the weather is bad
Unfortunately there were some building works which we were not told about prior
