Beautiful location. We got the cottage suite facing the water - and the view and vibe was beautiful! The property is located in a valley and you can easily access the castle nearby on foot or by car.
On reaching the hotel, the reception staff (without looking at my reservation details) declared that I must be headed to the hotel down the road and must exit and take a right. It was a very confusing and weird "welcome".
It did put me on the backfoot a bit to even enquire about their services and approach them for anything.
For such a well appointed hotel, I would have expected them going the extra mile, clarifying and assisting me kindly.
Additionally the phone in the cottage did not work well, so I was forced to go the reception desk for anything I needed.
