Perfect location for exploring Grasmere and Ambleside. We also enjoyed sitting and watching the badgers one evening.

Stunning house in Grasmere , nice and central but also quite and peaceful. Lovely decor , nice big room and comfy bed . Stunning bathroom. Hiking poles were provided for people to use , loads of dog stuff to borrow , it was lovely . Really lovely couple who own and run it too

Fantastic location with private path to Grasmere lake and badgers in the garden. Bliss!
The only issue in an otherwise v well equipped garden annex was the sofabed which would probably be fine for a child but wasn't the comfiest for an adult

Lake View was the perfect place to end our summer holiday. The Cottage with it’s kitchen and separate bedroom worked perfectly for myself and my two young sons. Having my parents located just upstairs in the main house worked beautifully too. The central location made walking around Grasmere and beyond so easy. We also loved the garden and of course the nightly visits to see the badgers! Magic!
