An exceptional stay from start to finish. The location is honestly the best of both worlds: you're a couple of minutes from Malia centre and a super short walk down to the beach, but you're tucked away from the noise, so you can actually sleep and relax. The apartments are beautiful and really comfortable, and the whole place is spotless: rooms, pool area, everywhere. The pool and gardens were lovely to spend the day around, and breakfast was very nice. The staff were more than we could have asked for: warm, helpful and genuinely welcoming. We came as a group of friends and every one of us would come back without hesitation. Highly recommended.

Our stay was absolutely amazing, and I genuinely cannot fault the hotel, its beautiful surroundings, or the incredible staff.
From the moment we arrived, Yannis went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Due to a last-minute flight change, we had to check in outside of the usual check-in hours, but Yannis was incredibly accommodating. He welcomed us warmly, helped us take our bags to our room, and made sure everything was in order and that we were comfortable before leaving us to settle in. Nothing was ever too much trouble for him.
The rooms were exceptionally clean, spacious, and comfortable. The hotel itself is in a fantastic location — just around a four-minute walk from the beach and right on the doorstep of some beautiful restaurants. It was the perfect location for our stay.
What really stood out, though, was the genuine care and kindness shown by Yannis. During our holiday, my mum unfortunately fell unwell, and on the Sunday we needed medication when the pharmacies were closed. Yannis went completely out of his way to help us, arranging for the medication to be delivered directly to our hotel room. It made such a difference and helped my mum recover so quickly. We were incredibly grateful for his kindness and thoughtfulness during what could have been a very stressful situation.
I stay in a lot of hotels, and it is very rare to come across someone who genuinely cares about every guest in the way Yannis does. His hospitality felt sincere, personal, and completely above and beyond what you would normally expect.
Even on our final day, when Yannis was not going to be at the hotel, he made sure to wish us safe travels. That small gesture really summed up the level of care he showed us throughout our entire stay.
We had a truly wonderful experience and would happily return. A beautiful hotel, fantastic location, spotless and spacious rooms, and, most importantly, exceptional staff.
The only thing I would say is there was only 1 mirror in the room which was in the bathroom. A full length mirror would have been ideal for the girls that like to see their outfits but genuinely this is minor. Overall my only complaint is that I couldn’t stay longer and the hotel is sold out for a majority of next year.

The accommodation had a good location, close to the beach while also being within easy walking distance of the main street connecting the beach area with the centre of Malia.
Unfortunately, the service and attitude of the hotel staff were, to put it mildly, very disappointing! particularly during check-in.
The staff member checking us in asked to see my passport, which I provided without any issue. While he was entering my details, I simply asked out of curiosity why my passport was specifically required rather than another form of identification, given that the hotel is located in a European country and I am an EU citizen.
His reaction was immediately defensive and irritated. Instead of simply explaining the reason, he questioned me as a guest, asking if this was my first time staying at a hotel, and spoke to me in a very condescending manner. This was particularly unnecessary given that he already had my passport in his hands and I was simply asking a genuine question.
During my trip to Crete, I stayed at six different hotels, and I have never experienced staff who were anywhere near as unprofessional or unpleasant as this. Unfortunately, the way we were treated left a very negative first impression of the hotel.
That being said, I understand from other reviews that the owner and regular staff are generally very well regarded, and my understanding is that the person dealing with our check-in was not the owner or one of the regular staff members. Therefore, I hope this was an isolated incident rather than a reflection of the hotel's usual standard of service.
