Good location, about 15 mins walk from the station and midway between station and old Ginza town. Also quite a few eateries around the area.

The room was spacious, with a bed, a sofa, a kitchen and our own bathroom.
The staff was very professional and helpful.
The breakfast was good, especially the French bread as my husband ate dozens of it
Actually it is an issue in whole Japan. Despite the fact that the hotel is well located, the premises are really aging. The decoration, textures, electronics... It was -10 degrees outside and the heater was so old and inefficient, we were freezing. The staff gave us 2 more blankets and a portable heater, that we had to turn on every 2 hours... It wasn't was I expected for a peacefully retreat in Karuizawa. I had to wake up at night to avoid getting cold. Honestly, for this price it's shameful.
