Beautiful hotel in the middle of the nature. Nice view from the balcony. Staff very kind

Very bad internet. It was impossible to plan the rest of my holidays and to work. The breakfast could be better.

Nice place to stay

The receptionist (which for some odd reason, I can not remember her name) was very attentive and helpful.

Premises were very nice and the receptionist was very attentive to our needs

Great remote option for a Monteverde vacation.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bosque Verde lodge. It's a bit more remote and further outside the Santa Elena area, which made it easy for us to get to our coffee tour and night tour. However, it's definitely a bit further to get to the Cloud Forest than other BnBs in Santa Elena. There's plenty of food options nearby as well. Overall, the room was really quaint and clean, had a great view and balcony. The staff were extremely nice and accommodating. The road to get there is definitely rustic, though we had no problem with it in just a 4x2.

A pretty lodge away from the hustle and bustle of town

We had a 3 night stay. Our rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Although a little way from Santa Elena, we had a hire car so the location was no problem, and it was very quiet out of the town. Beautiful garden. The breakfast room was clearly in the middle of refurbishment, but the food was good and service very friendly. I don’t think evening meals were an option, but we were happy to drive for our dinner.

Incredibly disappointing.

Nice view of mountains. Free breakfast included fresh squeezed orange juice and fruit.

The room smelled moldy. The toilet leaked. It was strangely noisy from the wind and rain at night, as if walls had no insulation. The road to the hotel requires a 4 wheel drive. Bring exact change or expect to over pay for extras.

Slightly disappointing stay

Nice location on the outskirts of Monteverde - recommend 4x4 for access. The room was a good size, and the bed was particularly comfortable for our stay. Reasonable breakfast with a number of different options. Room contained a safe, coffee maker and TV. Pleasant views from the balcony.

In general, the hotel and facilities could do with some renovation/ modernisation. It appeared that there was little attention to detail (not restocking coffee or bottled water in the room after checking in). We experienced a number of issues with the bathroom during our stay, which were not resolved as promised by the staff the following day. The staff did not clean our room or change linen/ towels on one of the days. The downstairs rooms suffer from hearing every sound from the guests in the rooms on the floor above. Reception was not always open/ contactable during our stay. During breakfast the restaurant's coffee machine was broken/ not working which reduced the number of hot drinks options that the hotel were able to offer.

Perfect and quiet place close to the National Park Monteverde

Very big stylish and comfortable room with balcony and a beautiful view. Outside the room a lot of birds - parrots, hummingbirds. Good breakfast.

Beautiful room, beautiful view, and great breakfast! The wood rooms were great!

Would be great to have a waste basket in the room (not just next to the toilet).

Beautiful but inconvenient.

The location is beautiful. And the rooms are comfortable.

Staff was friendly, but they were often not in the office. One day, we tried to book breakfast with them and couldn’t find them. The breakfast itself was pretty mediocre and the coffee was awful. It’s hard to get to and if you don’t want to drive at night, you are kind of stuck there. They say they have a restaurant and bar but neither was open during our 3 days.

Awesome place! Lots of Nature, rest and adventure

Our stay was great! Staff was awesome, the rooms are big and cozy. It was very windy and rainy and we slept like babies. The booked all tours for us and organized the shuttle to come get us at the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and very complete!

Since we got the wrong bed set up it was not a comfortable stay. Thus we only stayed the first night

room, view, staff.

We reserved a 2 queen bed room but got a queen and single and was told that there was no 2 queen available.

Everything was perfect for our honeymoon.

Staff - Fabianna was wonderful. She made sure we were completely taken care of and happy. She is very hard working and industrious. The breakfast and dinners she prepared for us almost everyday were always excellent.
