Basic dorm room with confortable beds. Lookers under the bed. Big kitchen and common area . AC during the night.

Good spot for a short stay. I stayed here as a backup plan when the other accomodation didn't work out. Right next to the big grocery store Supermercados Rey, 5 minute walk to the Santo Tomas metro station. Really great A/C which is welcome in that humid weather, solid wifi. Still rating it a 8.0 since I'll give the benefit of the doubt due to the late booking (booked at 10:45 PM and arrived shortly thereafter) and above factors.
There wasn't front desk staff when I arrived, which is partially understandable because it was around 11:00 PM. But if the hostel is going to accept late bookings, there either has to be attentive staff or self check in instructions. There were 2 guests who just happened to be hanging out on the sofa next to the front desk, so one of them buzzed me in. There was a lady cutting hair right in front of them (within sight of the front door) who was the staff member (I assume) that eventually led me to my room. So I don't understand why she didn't let me in instead, since she could likely hear/see me when I arrived. Also, wasn't given a towel or shower instructions.

This is convenient if just for a night or 2. Best thing is the kitchen and laundry - huge space and well equipped for what you need. Pod bed as normal with electric and curtain. Area close to Santo Tomas metro 5 minute walk.
No air con in the day makes it difficult to stay in your bedroom pod. Maybe they do this deliberately to have you out in the day. If you want to work youll need to use communal areas as it’s just too hot daytime. At night they put it on though.
