This place got me surprised - very spacious common room, enough storage space directly under bed, very clean bathroom; breakfast is simple but good and prepared quickly by the staff, so great value for the price (if it’s not enough or doesn’t suit your taste, you can always prepare or buy something yourself afterward); kitchen is very clean, tidy, and well-equipped (better than in some Airbnbs); location was also great, many places are within walking distance.

I stayed for one night and it was good. Served it's purpose
Breakfast was shocking for a hostel in Latin america. I just ended up not eating it as there was not much healthy options, not even eggs.

It was clean and neat, and they responded quickly to my message on Booking.com. It was very hot outside, but the rooms were nice and cool. Maybe a little too cold. Breakfast was served to you, toast with eggs and fruit.
Since my Spanish wasn't great, it was sometimes difficult to communicate and understand things. It would have been nice to receive more information during the welcome than just a room showing, but that could also have been due to the language barrier.

Nice pool, big room with strong AC, nice pool
Felt safe but there was really nothing in the area. When I checked in someone just showed me to my room and where the bathroom was, never saw any friendliness from them other than the person that made breakfast in the morning. I asked if I could drink the two water once because the jug seemed empty and didn't really get an answer. Was hoping for a social vibe but didn't get that at all - I imagine that depends a bit on who's staying there but feel like there should have been events to facilitate that. About a 15-30 min uber to casco viejo (historic center & nightlife) but not being away from even a bar to go to was a bummer when on vacation. Also, the shower rod fell on my head every time I showered. I had a private room and my bedroom light had a constant flicker. if I turned the ceiling fan on it made an awful noise. I didn't mention this to anyone so maybe they would have changed the bulb or fixed it if I had, but it was irritating. Overall Not a bad experience, just fine.
