This property has great views over the Tamar river and just love the spa which is divinely hot in the colder weather. This room is a favourite of ours as we find the bed very comfortable with large open windows looking over the Tamar and a nice balcony with seating area. The bed is lovely and comfortable with extra pillows and blanket, iron (yeah). Nice aircon, cool and hot, works brilliantly. A short walk to the pub and you’ll find nice pub style meals and a lovely outside and indoor area to enjoy views over the river. Can recommend the yummy fish and chips, so nice and fresh and delicious. Shower is hot with good pressure. Amenities including bathroom supplies, a coffee pod machine and kettle and milk with all supplies and bar fridge to store your own drinks. Yeah, a variety of glasses thank you, wine, water and coffee/tea (seems to be lacking lately in other places). TV has access to cable TV thank you (again lacking in other accommodation). Really, everything you need for a short stay.
No room service, but you can order and collect your lunch or dinner from the hotel and bring back to your room which was hugely appreciated. The pizzas weren’t the best sorry! Would suggest a Ploughmans platter of local produce to enjoy with a bottle over lunch or a light dinner to celebrate the stunning area.

Lovely clean rooms. Beautiful grounds. Lovely view and amazing meals.
Not really suitable for under 4 year old kids. As nice as the rooms are they are incredibly basics. No basic lounge, two hard wooden chairs and TV's from the early 2000's. Spa rooms need more privacy.
