Location is excellent. Steps from water taxi docks, restaurants and convenience stores. We were there one night (a Sunday) and we could hear some bar noise. The hostal provides ear plugs for those with sensitive hearing. In our case only one of us needed them. There’s a kitchen and fridge but we didn’t used them.

Located centrally in Bocas Town, close to water taxis, buses, shops and restaurants.
Big room with nice bathroom and balcony, however there is no aircon only a fan, so it was very hot.
The communal kitchen is spotless and super well organised. The nicest we've seen by far.
The lady on reception was very helpful.
Good check in/check out times to link up with transfers.
The location directly across from a bar and the fact the room is not fully enclosed (gaps between walls and roof for ventilation) makes it very loud at night. Ear plugs are provided but be prepared to fall asleep to thumping base.
As said above it was very hot, particularly in the evenings before cooling down overnight. The fan did not help much and they recommend closing doors and windows at night for safety so you can't get any breeze.
No so much a dislike but a good to know - this is not a social hostel with activities, it's more like a guesthouse with a communal kitchen
