Excellent location, right in town. Easy check in, all the amenities you need. We enjoyed a sunrise walk on the beach and tea and a meal at the Sikh temple (Donations welcome if you can afford), everyone welcome. Woolgoolga is a wonderful place to visit. :-)

Location, location, location.
Beach 120 mtrs. Public pool 80mtrs.
The Woopi Backpackers is well run.
Many rules for residents but that is understandable.
The happy faces on the residents were uplifting and an indicator of the success of this establishment.
A great selection of quality restaurants for a village-size township
Nothing really.
It was an off-the-cuff decision to stay at a backpackers but it gave me the ability to see Woopi again after many years.

It was central and there was a car park opposite. Breakfast cereal was included.
I'm showing my age... 77 years...Staying at a backpackers has been on my bucket list all my life, and here I am at last. The lift to the sleeping floor was Out of Order! Yikes... 600 steps up! Im exaggerating but... a young English girl found me halfway up and helped me with my baggage. Many thanks. (There is No Lift!) The beds was fine but low down which made it exciting to get up! I was saddened by the lack of interaction between the younger guests... very little chatter between them. The hot water eventually became Luke warm... No need for a cold tap at all. No milk for coffee after hours. All good. I've gotten it out of my system now... been there, done that! Cheers. 😊😊😊
