The property was well laid out. It was a lovely place to arrive to after the flight and the Nely was so kind after we were delayed and arrived near midnight. Having two bath rooms and showers was such a help to us. Being a modern apartment it was very clean and quiet in the building.
The location was within easy walking distance of the city centre which is convenient.

The apartment itself was lovely — clean, spacious and in a good location for the reason we were visiting. The main restaurants were around a 15–20 minute walk away, which was manageable. Overall, the apartment was suitable for our needs and the location worked well for the purpose of our trip.
Unfortunately, the hosting experience was disappointing. If you are an English-speaking guest, be aware that Nelly, who meets you on arrival, does not speak English. Despite Jose knowing that we were English guests, there was no English-speaking contact available. Nelly seemed surprised that we could not communicate with her and was quite blunt. When we explained that we didn’t understand Spanish, she simply spoke louder in Spanish, as though speaking louder would somehow make us understand. This made the arrival experience quite uncomfortable and frustrating. There were also a lot of flies around the pool, and unfortunately the pool area was not particularly relaxing, as a resident regularly spoke loudly in Spanish and approached and talked to people using the pool. Communication with Jose was also slow — he said he would send restaurant recommendations, but these were not received until two days after we arrived. Air conditioning is an additional charge, which we were aware of, but when we contacted Jose at around 4pm to arrange and pay for it, he did not respond until around 10am the following morning. As a result, we had no air conditioning overnight and the apartment was extremely hot. We also had to pay a €150 cash deposit. We found this process quite unusual, particularly as the deposit was returned before we had even left. We had to withdraw €150 in cash and received it back around 48 hours later. We asked for a receipt when handing over the money, which we felt was a reasonable request, but the hosts seemed reluctant to provide one. Overall, while the apartment itself was nice, the lack of English communication, blunt arrival experience, slow responses, air conditioning issue and deposit process meant that we would not choose to stay here again.
