We booked the Japanese style bedroom which was very nice and and comfortable, with plenty space.
We manage to leave our luggage earlier than the check in. which we did it with a code online later as we arrived after 18:00 all went smooth with entering the property with a code. The bathroom was shared so we have to wait sometimes but that is what it is to share. near a train station but the area is quite hilly so if you are using big luggage be aware of it.

The breakfast comprises rice with sauces but one may bring one's own cereal or whatever. The location of the guesthouse is excellent with the #2 or #18 bus going directly to the business hub and beyond. Moreover the guesthouse is a 10 minute walk from Shin-Kobe (but don't rely upon Google maps).
There is a FamilyMart within 100m of the guesthouse
The ablution area is minimal but seems to serve well enough for quantity of guests that happened to be there.

The breakfast was fun and the location was good, close to the mountain and the shinkansen station but a little far from downtown by foot.
The guest house had more a feeling of a youth hostel than a guesthouse. The shared areas are very small and can feel a bit crowded if there is more than one group at once. The biggest inconvenient for me was the noise from the hallway and other rooms. The walls are very thin and if some guests are not respectful or not careful with noise level it can be very difficult to sleep and get some rest. The rates seemed a bit expensive for what you get.
