A budget hostel located in the heart of Chinatown Kobe. A great place.

I really liked how it’s close to everything in Kobe and how clean it was.

Good value. Service needs a little improvement.

Location was great and everything worked and was safe.

The kitchen area was not clean and the grudge and garbage were over stuffed. They also said they would be available to store our luggage except from 1 to 4pm but that wasn't the case. We came by at 12:30 and the door was locked and no one answered the phone.

Very good

Good location with easy access to the public transport, Lots of places to try local food and shopping. A short walking distance form some tourist attraction sites.

The curtains in the room didn't shut the outside light properly.

Location is great! Close to stations and right in China Town.

Having to put on your own sheets, a bit tricky when you arrive late and are trying not to wake people up.

Very good

The Room was clean and warm, and the bed was comfortable. The location is inside China town, and there are many shops and foods. The station is near 元町駅(JR), and you can also walk away to 三宮站(JR) to look for food.

good location close to Kobe China town, staffs can speak English!

cleanliness should be improved, beddings are full with dust. We need to pass through the outdoor space from our room to the shower room, so it was quite cold in the morning.

Great stay in China Town!

This was our second stay here. it is located right inside China Town and is about a 15 minute walk to Port of Kobe.

Great energy in the heart of Kobe’s Chinatown

It is very close to the station and Chinatown. the staff were very nice and helpful, and the guests when I was there were respectful. Everything was clean and easy to understand.

This wasn’t an issue when I was there but I did wonder what would be done about the open air hallway in the event of a storm.

Nice hostel with friendly staff. Good on a budget but still offers nice facilities

The location is very good for China Town and it’s easy to walk to both the port and to Sannomiya. The staff were also very friendly and kind, and I like the fact that I was able to choose a female-only dorm. The bathroom facilities were also kept clean. The decor was also very nice with a cool feel to the place, and the beds had curtains which gave a good amount of privacy. There are also sizeable lockers for those who need them, the other people in my dorm were very polite and quiet. There was a table and sofas as well as a large mirror in the dorm room, although the lighting wasn’t great this was useful for make up and getting ready.

The room next door had a large family staying in it, with some very young children who were very noisy until fairly late at night and it began again in the morning. This is not the fault of the property and they did stop so it didn’t disrupt my sleep too much luckily. The walls were just very thin and maybe young children staying in a hostel isn’t ideal?

Amazing stay in Kobe!

The location is inside China town. There are many shops and food options all within a short walk. The staff were amazing and friendly and provided a warm welcome and many recommendations. We will stay here again for our next visit to Kobe!

The hostel is a good value for money. It is conveniently located (6 minutes walk from Motomachi Station), and in a quiet street. It seems to cater mainly for young travellers. The toilet and bathroom areas are warm, clean and well equipped. The rooms are clean and everything is in good condition.

It is a pity that there is not a more convivial space to eat and cook (small recess in the corridor). There are also tables on the bedrooms' floors, but in a neon-lit area with no windows to the outside.

Exceptional

The location was perfect, it's right in the middle of Chinatown but tucked in a side street so it's actually quite silent in the evening. We were booking at the last minute so we didn't check the details in advance, but we were thrilled when we arrived. Everything you need is really close. The facilities are extremely clean and comfortable, I can't believe this is classified as one star accommodation. But the most amazing part were the people, the guest house owners Hiromi and Manabu were so caring and welcoming that we really felt as if we were visiting our old friends. We will definitely be coming back again.
