We were attending a lunch time party a mile or so away from the hotel. We did not check in until late afternoon, and we stayed just for the one night before leaving the next morning. The breakfast was good, and the evening that we had arrived I had had a drink in the bar and spoken with a couple of other people who were also staying in the hotel and had a pleasant evening. The hotel has its own dedicated car park, which we use without any problems.
There was nothing of any significance because this is a historical building. You must not expect a lift or super wide staircases to get you to the bedrooms upstairs. Whilst the hotel does not have air conditioning, we found that the room temperature was comfortable, although it wasn't in the middle of one of the heat waves that have hit Britain this summer.

good spot for the local golf , nice atmosphere and staff very friendly and helpful
Appreciate it was a monday but they were fully booked so left the staff that were on duty under quite a lot of pressure so everything was a bit slow….

Staff were very friendly and food (evening meal and breakfast) was fantastic! Very nice old country pub and rooms were very clean. good parking and close to Brands Hatch (10 minute drive). Good nights sleep (had to request additional pillows) and very quiet.
Room was on the small side, had to shuffle around the bed and whilst the shower was good it was on the small size and could make some people feel claustrophobic.
