Traditional wooden building but shower and toilet are completely new. Kind staffs. Quiet location because of a little far from central Sinaia.

Amazing location, even better accomodation. Villa Camelia had so much charm and was a very lucky find. Located in a walkable distance from both castles and the Main Street, we enjoyed our stay thoroughly. The staff were kind enough to let us leave our car after checkout to explore a little more. We would definitely stay again! ☺️

Amazing breakfast, with traditional foods and natural eggs, tomatoes, peppers.

On an eleven day trip through Transilvania, this was our only bad hotel. The parking spaces are unmarked and limited, leaving people to park however they like. Having inserted our rental into the only space left, we walked in and were not greeted with a hello or even a smile. Just "Passports" in a voice that made it seem like we were seriously bothering him. He then showed us to the stairway up to our room and walked away. We trudged up two flights of stairs with our luggage. I did not realize until the next day, that there is a lift that he walked right by while showing us the stairway. I am in my sixties. I don't expect anyone to take my luggage for me, but I do think they should tell me if a lift is available instead of watching me drag my luggage up two flights of stairs. The room was bizarre. It was over two floors with a tiny, death defying open circular stair. On the bottom floor was a double bed and up the stairs a twin bed. So the room is obviously designed for multiple people, a family room, as it were. But there was a clear glass door on the bathroom. My adult son and I had to warn each other when we were using the toilet, so the other could avoid the area. We took turns having breakfast while the other showered. There was one large window and two small windows on the bottom floor. None of them had shades or curtains, so we woke up with the sun. The streetlight outside shined on the double bed all night long. The bottom floor was seriously cramped. There was a table with three chairs taking up the only space not used by the bed, but there was so little room that one could not pull out the chairs to sit at the table. One person could, but the other chairs were just wedged in. Breakfast was meager, with overdone eggs and stale pastries. I booked the hotel because I fell in love with the glorious interior space, but the beauty of that space could not make up for the unfriendly staff, bizarre room layout, and tricky parking.
Unfriendly staff, clear glass bathroom door in a family room, no shades or curtains, cramped room, cramped parking.
